Fanuzzi Transfers to Rice

Well, that didn't take long. Nick Fanuzzi is a Rice Owl. Sources for Fox 26 out of Houston say he is on campus and is in the process of enrolling. He will have to sit out the 2008 season of course, but will be eligible to play in '09.

Best of luck to Nick in the future...except when playing against UAB of course.

After sitting out the 2008 season at Rice, what’s the likelihood of Fanuzzi starting for the Owls, in 2009…or thereafter?

…via the incoming links on our sitemeter from a Rice message board. They are INCREDIBLY excited about it. If their fans are to be believed, he’ll at least be in the mix.

Rice

They have definitely changed their offense. Major Applewhite was actually the OC there, before he came to Alabama. I know they throw the ball around a lot. I think they average around 300 yds passing a game.
