RBR, quick question…is there a quality internet radio broadcast that you would suggest? I reside in Charlotte, NC, and there’s no radio affiliate nearby, so, with that, I’m looking to catch the pre-game online. I really appreciate your help.

From what I’ve tracked down, we’re 3-7 when featured on College GameDay… anybody know what our record is when Corso’s picked us compared to when he’s picked the other team?

Does anyone now what our record is when orange Corso picks us as opposed to scary pink Corso picks us? Sorry about the above comment. My two year old hit enter before I wrote anything.

How painful is it for Virginia Tech to not just lose to ECU, but to lose on a blocked punt? Ouch.
Damn fun to watch though...

Not only did ECU win, but they probably should have won by more points then they did, given the turnovers they had and didn’t take advantage of. They were calling for a really close game, here in Charlotte, and it definitely was…what a game to kick off the weekend!

we saw second/third stringers on the field in the 4th? And this was a (granted preseason ACC) top ten team.

we played...
…just about as perfect of a game as we possibly could. Giving up the kick off return TD was disappointing, but we played smothering D, moved the ball effectively and were able to create long, efficient drives, and most importantly we didn’t have any turnovers or boneheaded mistakes. I think the announcers said we only had two negative plays the entire game. just amazing. i’m a little drunk, but damn i am happy.

update from WAY south of the border
watched the game in the bar in lima, peru. i was the only person there adorned in crimson. the usual anti-bama crap got bandied about a bit at the start of the game but by the halfway point of the first quarter the whole place was screaming with me. good times, my friends. good times.

It’s been a long time comin’. Think the two Oklahoma openers, the UCLA games, the Florida State game last year – all that. It is HIGH TIME the Tide won a big game to start the season.
This is it ya’ll! We are finally, thankfully, honestly, and DEFINITIVELY on our way back to the top of college football!
Granted – a game doesn’t make a season by any stretch. But I love the way the TIDE played tonight and we have a lot to be excited about. We may lose some games coming up. Who knows. But we have the right people in charge, and we have AMAZING ATHLETES executing their plans.
I’ll say it before you do – these freshman are going to win a national title.

I was the only Bama fan tonight watching the game, but I had a LSWhoo and a UGA fan with me and they were impressed. I think they were scared!! I hope they are! Man, was that a great win or what! Clemson who? I thought it would have been close, but I was wrong…our boys handed it to them tonight in grand fashion(except the kick return). That was just simply beautiful exicution for the most part. I’m so happy I got to see it. I will be missing a few game in Sept.(no TV or internet access). RTR!!!!!!!!!
