Interesting list of the 5 toughest schedules in the nation. Alabama came in at number 3. It was interesting, the only thing I was surprised not to see was Arkansas on the list. They have a killer schedule

Damn it. Can someone properly instruct me on how you imbed the video in to the fan shot? I apparently cannot do that. I suck!

I may be wrong...
but I don’t think Trev Alberts counts as an SEC homer. I will say that, as tough as our schedule is, I wouldn’t put Alabama or Auburn on the top five list. To me, UT and Arky both play tougher schedules. However, Georgia does play the toughest schedule and if they actually make it to the title game they will crush any opponent. Not that I think they will get there.

A few thoughts...
Georgia probably does have the toughest schedule in the country. They get all of the SEC East, the likely top three SEC West teams (‘Bama, LSU, and Auburn), plus they also draw Georgia Tech and probably the second best Pac-10 team. And of course, if all goes to plan, they will get the best team in the West again in Atlanta. It’s hard to imagine anything possibly being any tougher than that.
Florida is probably the wildcard schedule of the bunch. Their schedule isn’t as tough as Georgia’s because they draw Arkansas and Ole Miss out of the West - whereas Georgia gets Alabama and Auburn - but with Hawaii, Miami, and FSU on the OOC schedule, that could get extremely tough if those teams rebound from a year ago.
Arkansas has a pretty stout schedule, but it’s not too bad. They still draw Western Illinois and ULM, plus they pick up Kentucky and South Carolina from the East. You can throw in three more very winnable games against MSU, Ole Miss, and Tulsa. The four week stretch where they draw Texas, Alabama, Florida, and Auburn is probably the toughest four-week stretch in the country, but the overall schedule is probably only slightly above average by SEC standards.

Doom-laden Georgia moment
Can you imagine the hell breaking loose if Georgia goes undefeated and then loses a close one in the SEC Championship game? I know SEC haters would enjoy it, but to go through that gauntlet unscathed and then to lose like 21-20 would be devastating. Obviously, if there were 2 other schools with 1 loss … which, let’s face it, would be extremely likely … they’d say, “Tough shit. See OU-LSU-USC 2003.” But man, I’m not even a Georgia fan, but that would be a tough pill to swallow. The playoff proponents would be apoplectic and I think Georgia’s president would have an aneurysm right on the spot.
