Clemson/Bama tickets ?`s
I have my heart set on going to this game and it will be the first time (and surely not last) seeing my beloved Tide in action and I'm hoping its not too late to get some tickets to the game. Anybody got any suggestions to where I can get some at a decent price. I know that they will be a lot more than face value but I ain't paying crazy amounts for them. All I'm looking for is 2!

Scalping
In general, buyer beware. The advice I’d give to saving money is to always always wait. Prices go down as sellers need to get rid of the inventory before it becomes useless. At this point, everyone is asking outrageous prices to see if they get lucky.

Scalping
Would be the cheapest but with the Game in ATL you have too watch out for bogus tickets(I’ve been hosed by a scalper on concert tickets). Stubhub is were I purchased my 7, the price may be higher but, you do not have to worry about getting to the gate and being turned away and they will reimburse you if something goes wrong with the tickets. Watch ebay constantly someone will post two for a buy it now price but, expect to pay anywhere from 125 and up depending on location.
Auburn fans are like slinkys... not really good for anything but they still bring a smile to your face when you push them down a flight of stairs.

I'd agree...
...with using Stubhub. I’ve gotten burned by scalpers in Atlanta selling fake tickets to concerts before, too, so it may cost a little more but it’s worth it for the peace of mind.

Box Office
As somebody who works in Ticketing, its also worth checking with the box office at kickoff. It happens at concerts in general, but folks who deal with sports ticketing are very conservative and are always holding something for an emergency. On more than one occasion have great seats been turned back in for sale at the last minute.

I paid $400 for a pair of FSU
tickets because we had four people (bought 2 through ticket office). When we got to the game, they were selling around $15 each. Made me sick and I vowed I would never by scalped tickets again.

Clemson Athletic Ticket Office
I bought three about a month ago from the Clemson Athletic Ticket office for $67 each. The are in section 137 near the 50 yard line in the second row. Don’t know if you can do that or not. I had a friend of a friend who is a Clemson alum make the call for me. Just got the tickets yesterday. I have them “stewing” in my Bama room, the one room I have dedicated to watching Bama football, which is surrounded by Daniel Moore prints on the walls, Bama logo’ed beer mugs and what-not on the entertainment center, and a couple of exclusive 3’x5’ Bear Bryant drawings on either side of the entertainment center.
Anyway, I purchased the tickets a month ago or so, so it may be too late there.
