I enjoyed this from Rocky Top Talk.

I have to agree, in my own biased opinion. I have always enjoyed the unique logo that Alabama has had. The elephant is easily one of the most distinctive mascots in CFB.

In spite of...

...Joel being a Vile, he’s pretty cool to admit we’re the best because, of course, we are. I almost joined Rocky Top Talk to tell him so, but I just couldn’t bring myself to do it. I know he reads this blog, so he’ll just have to see it here. Just an opinion, but of the rival SEC blogs, Kyle at Dawg Sports is my favorite writer(I root for Georgia after Alabama), then Joel at RTT, Richard at And The Valley Shook, and having never read South Carolina’s blog, Garnet and Black Attack, until SEC Media Days, I found C&F pretty dang funny(especially the way he talks about himself in the 3rd person).

um...

I must admit that I joined after reading that post and the other 2 “Logo” posts…funny stuff…I just avoid and ignore the fact that it’s a Vols blog…ignorance is bliss…

Vicki...

I’m gonna have to agree with you…I’m still trying to wash the orange off of me…lol…you know since I made that god awful mistake of marrying an Aubie. That’s even after I got rid of her.

I appreciate the 3rd place vote

Honestly, it means something to me. I try my best, and I’m glad to hear I fit in nicely with the other really good and entertaining writers around here.

Much like as for Ole Miss, 3rd place is good enough for me.

Number 3 in voting, but number 1 in our hearts!

Geaux Richard!

No problem Richard...

Interestingly enough, after crimson/red, my favorite color has always been purple of all shades, even LSU’s. I look forward to this year’s game.

Oh, signing up for a rival blog is not so bad . . .

. . . bamavicki. That guilty feeling wears off after a few hours.

If crimson comes off in the shower, I’d bet orange does as well.

Go Vols!

I don't know Joel...

I recently was at the store when I was visiting my mother and she wanted to buy an orange shirt. She has 3 degrees from Bama. I said “hell, no, what are you thinking?” We settled on peach.
btw, loved D.J. Hall’s Career Day. I hate when Todd posts Bama humiliation on the blog. Todd, I will not watch that MSU interception again!!!

YOU WILL WATCH IT

Okay, no you won’t. But hopefully the days are quickly arriving when we won’t have “humiliation” moments to post.

I hate that logo...

Of all the Bama logos, they pick the one I hate the most. lol I prefer the traditional block A with elephant personally.
