30 Sports Teams/ Figures that "Grind My Gears": #8 Dick Vitale

On with the list! Just remember guys I’m not a writer!

Let’s take a look so far at  number 1-7 of the 30 Sports Teams that “Grind My Gears”

#1- The Barn: Why not hate them? They are Auburn.

#2- The ACC: Get a team besides FSU to win the BCS National Championship and then come                  talk to me.

#3- UT: Fat Boy, Puke Orange, and Rocky Top just to name a few.

#4- FSU: Finally the ACC caught up!

#5- The WNBA: Start dunking, then maybe we’ll watch

#6- The USC Trojans- Reggie Bush scandal and my apparent jealousy of everything Trojan!

#7- Notre Dame: Too many reason to list

#8- Dick Vitale!!! Yeah Baby!!!

I really held back on Notre Dame. I could have really gone off on them but felt that I shouldn’t. Dick Vitale is a different beast. This guy has been annoying me for over a decade and its time to vent. If I go too far on this one, I apologize a head of time. It’s just that Dick Vitale really really really “Grinds My Gears”!!

How many of you have tried to sit down and watch a nice little college basketball game and had heard that annoying clamoring in the background and wondered what the hell is that? And no, I don’t mean your wife. That sir was the aggravating noise that is known as Dick Vitale. Oh… my…. god I can hear it now. Yeah baby! He’s shootin the rock Baby! Its Duke baby!! I want to shoot myself baby!! Give me a freakin break baby!! We get it. You like college basketball. I also get that there is no need to scream every time you open that bald headed mouth of yours. MY GOD!!! Do you talk like that all the time? ILL TAKE A #2 WITH CHEESE, BIGGIE SIZE WITH A ROOT BEER!! BABY!! or HEY HONEY!! TIME FOR LOVIN!! YEAH BABY!! Please for the love of god tone it down about 500 levels. The constant blaring of your voice makes me not want to watch a game on ESPN ever again. And that really sucks because I love college basketball.

And what is your obsession with Duke? Sure they are a pretty good team but eevverryy stinkin year you act like they are the next big thing and Coach K is the coming messiah. Pick a new team for a change. Question. Do you and the coach have a “special” relationship that we all should know about? Cause you have a serious man crush going on there. I’m not going to start any rumors but the steady amount of love you give that man makes me think something else is going on deep down inside!

Another thing, what is up with you giving your two cents on anything other than college b-ball? I actually saw you on Mike and Mike talking about the Favre fiasco and breaking down the upcoming NFL season. Dude WTF! You’re an overrated basketball analyst at best, not a freakin wizard on all things sports related. Stick to what you’re good at I mean what you’re annoying at.

I just wonder why anyone listens to you at all. Just listen to some of the complete BS that comes from your mouth: "Diaper Dandy", a "PTPer" "Maalox Masher" "Trifecta"," It's Serendipity, Baby" "slap a lapper", "super scintillating sensational!", and "dipsy-doo dunkeroo slam-jam-bam, baby!"  Speak english!! How can a person who talks like this just sign a  contract extension through the 2013 season. WTF ESPN!!! Why do you hate us so much? Really, what did we ever do to you!

Wow I feel much better. Here’s the truth. Yes this man annoys the living crap out of me and he actually takes the joy out of watching a game I love from me BUT I don’t really hate him. I don’t want anything bad to happen to him. I just want him to go away forever. Stop calling basketball games for ESPN and just leave us alone. You have made your point Mr. Vitale, so please leave it alone. Please!!
