instead of taking some time to examine the real divisions between various fanbases and why they might exist the writer simply grabbed at the low-lying fruit and didn’t give a shit if it was valid or not. her only validation is that she’s a sportswriter for a major media outlet. it’s called being lazy and there’s no excuse for it if you are being paid to pen this shit.

Florida "lives in the past and never shuts up" quotes the FOX posting. Huh? What kind of nonsense is that? Their quarterback won a Heisman Trophy and the team is just two seasons removed from a national title.

referring to this as journalism. Sounds to me like yet another member of the Old Media who doesn’t know the difference between the front page and the editorial page.
