Todd's Friday Embarassing Admission goes fanshot this week. Yes, I do in fact own the DVD of Crossroads starring Britney Spears. I usually defend it by saying "it was a gag gift!", but in reality I had already seen it multiple times, and then watched it several more times after it was given to me (all told, we're in the double digits now). So ridicule away or, better yet, share your shame DVDs in the comment.s

Mike Nelson’s commentary renders the movie a eminently watchable laugh-fest!

Neverending Story?

Nowhere near as good as I remember it as a child, and surprisingly short. It seemed Epic when I was 7.

Man...

…I’m not sure I can write on this blog with you anymore. You must have some atomic bombs to drop for Georgia, LSU, The Boogs, etc.

by Nico2.0 on Sep 12, 2008 8:39 AM CDT reply actions   0 recs

You listen to...

….avant garde polish music and haven’t seen Patton. You can write with me.

Bomb Dropped!!!!!

Hell, no! A tie is like kissing your sister!

Yeah...

…but the Polish avante garde is teh awesomzness. Penderecki, Lutoslawski, Gorecki, etc.

Shame on me for not having seen Patton though. I guess that’s my embarrassing admission for the day.

by Nico2.0 on Sep 12, 2008 10:33 AM CDT up reply actions   0 recs

Wow!...

…Todd I am with Nico on this one. This would be up there on the list for most people, and you are using it for WKU. You really stepped up your game for the rest of the season.

by Kenny483 on Sep 12, 2008 9:02 AM CDT reply actions   0 recs

I went soft...

…for Tulane and you saw how that turned out. I’m bringing it the rest of the season, mfers.

Bring It On!!!!

Hell, no! A tie is like kissing your sister!

by comer4tide on Sep 12, 2008 11:25 AM CDT up reply actions   0 recs

This is as far as I'll go for WKU...

…I own a copy of About Last Night, starring Rob Lowe and Demi Moore, a very cheesy 80s movie with three major flaws (horrible acting, horrible dialogue, Rob Lowe’s naked ass) and three major saving graces (Demi Moore naked, an actually funny James Belushi, any woman watching it with you getting hot from seeing Rob Lowe’s naked ass). Funniest unintentionally funny line: Demi Moore in the heat of the moment saying, “You’re so good.” Funniest intentionally funny line: Jim Belushi chastising Rob Lowe for essentially falling in love with Demi Moore, “Tits and ass! Tits and ass! Tits and ass! Tits and ass! Bloody blue! Bloody blue! Bloody blue! Bloody blue!” Edit if you must, lords of RBR.

Hopefully, that’s enough to get our offense over 200 yards this week. Party on, Garth.

It's worth it

for the scene at the prom with the Apple Computer guy. It seems like so long ago that she was a hot celebrity instead of a crazy celebrity…

Family reunion+George Dickel=

this great stroy, thanks to BR07 yesterday. The embarassing part about it is I really was jealous of my Cousin Aaron for taking this chick home (smoking hot)

Ok. Abington, Va, mothers family from there. I go up to see my cousin Aaron a day early and we hit a local bar that is crawling with fine women. Well, a bottle of george dickel later we are taking these 2 girls home. Somehow I called heads and lost so I pulled wingman for him. The girl he had was smoking, smoking hot…….i was jealous and ready to kick his ass. Mine, thank God for George.

Next morning we take them back to their car, blah blah blah. Kill another bottle of dickel and head to the reunion that night. At the reunion, I get a tap on my shoulder. its the girl Aaron took home.Me- “what are you doing here” Her-“seeing my family!”

She gets the look like, oh shit, on her face. The girl she had with her the night before was just a friend, just to clarify.

I find Aaron, inform him of what has happened, they meet up, and yes, its true. 3rd cousins

Hope the football Gods are happy

I don't find this all that embarassing

so it should work well for WKU. I own all seven seasons of Buffy the Vampire Slayer and all three seasons of Veronica Mars…and I watch them regularly.

by rugman11 on Sep 12, 2008 9:34 AM CDT reply actions   0 recs

Buffy is hot.....

Hell, no! A tie is like kissing your sister!

by comer4tide on Sep 12, 2008 9:38 AM CDT up reply actions   0 recs

Wheadon is not embarassing.

I have all the seasons of Buffy, Angel, and the lone season of Firefly. Hmm… Suddenly that does seem slightly embarassing.

If it were up to me, I'd blitz on offense too.

by The Heffalump on Sep 12, 2008 10:30 AM CDT up reply actions   0 recs

I have all the Buffy seasons...

…though Angel sucked ass, and I never could get into Firefly.

by Todd on Sep 12, 2008 10:46 AM CDT up reply actions   0 recs

But...

Angel can be watched for Amy Acker alone.

by Nico2.0 on Sep 12, 2008 10:58 AM CDT up reply actions   0 recs

I'm suddendly glad...

I made my Bring It On admission since this one is getting less and less embarrassing.

No shame in that.

The first season of VM is one of the best in TV history. And who doesn’t love some Kristen Bell? C’mon!

I own and watch regularly “The Princess Bride”, I love it, what can I say…

I hate that movie with a passion...

I’ll have to see if I still have the emails archived of my friend and I completely dismantling that movie. We took that thing to pieces like USC did to Oklahoma in ’04.

I've seen

Teen Witch like 5 times. god, i quiver just thinking about it.

by EZ on Sep 12, 2008 9:49 AM CDT reply actions   0 recs

omg

Teen Witch is ABSOLUTELY SPECTACULAR! There is not one cheesy 80s movie more ridiculous than that! There’s a nerdy white girl/pseudo-Danny from Grease rap scene, a song they all sing called “I want to be the most popular girl” and a silent disrobe/chase/romance scene in an abandoned house on a hill. Absolutely classic.

My admission is “My Father The Hero”

not a comedy, but I bought Titanic in high school, and would invite a lady friend over for a movie and a make out. Worked like a champ every time…

Fools Rush In was also good if you wanted to laugh a bit before the session began…

You're weirder than me!

And that’s sayin’ a WHOLE LOT! Nico, tell me this person is NOT Todd. THE TODD! (this is almost worse than having my brother FINALLY burn it into my head that the group Queen was made up of . . . .you know what I mean! And I thought they, especially Freddie Mercury, were crazy heterosexuals that had the women all drooling over them. I DID! So, yeah. I was pretty broken up about the whole matter. Broke in half “Killer Queen” and “The Game” ! I surely did, I was THAT pissed!)

You’re killing the company Todd. Killing the company. O_o

My admission...

I’ve probably watched each episode of Saved by the Bell at least 5 times, with some going as many as 15 times. I used to come home from school and it would come on 4 times in a row. The most embarassing part is that if I’ve got an extra 15-20 minutes to kill before work, sometimes I’ll bypass Sportscenter for a good episode of SBTB.

There, that’s worth a good Javier punt return…
