Auburn students booing their team? No.....
Auburn dean: Students should support, not boo, team on Saturday

Categories: SECAUBURN -- Auburn students were reminded to show good sportsmanship and not boo the home team in a message sent out today by the dean of students.
Dean Johnny Green urged students to support the ninth-ranked Tigers in their nationally televised game against No. 6 LSU Saturday. "That means no booing!" he wrote in bold letters.
"Remember, the team isn't trying to lose the game -- the players work hard all spring and during fall camp to be ready to compete in the SEC," Green wrote. "Let's show our appreciation for their hard work by encouraging them with loads of enthusiasm!"
ESPN's traveling preview show, College Game Day, will broadcast live from outside Jordan-Hare Stadium Saturday morning. The game kicks of at 6:45 p.m.
Green sent a similar message to students last September, when Auburn started the season 1-2 and some fans booed then-quarterback Brandon Cox.
"As a former Auburn football player, I can tell you first-hand that no one wants to win more than the young men that prepare and give their all on the field each Saturday," he wrote at the time.
Junior Chris Todd has been named Auburn's starting quarterback, but some fans support backup Kodi Burns, who did not play in Auburn's 3-2 win last week at Mississippi State.

see...
that’s where you are wrong comer, this is all part of Tubby’s master plan:
Step 1- play poorly against State.
Step 2- Have fans boo our team to make LSU think this is already in the bag.
Step 3 – DO NOT forget about that extra set of balls Les Miles keeps in his hat to throw to the end zone on third and short to beat my ass!
So it is really a genius idea, but the Dean is trying to “F” it up.
Man, how I wish he was our coach!!

Auburn.............
they are hiding kodi so they can unleash his laser precision arm on the bayou tigers. They also used crisco on the balls bc they felt they had an unfair advantage.
Auburn fans are like slinkys... not really good for anything but they still bring a smile to your face when you push them down a flight of stairs.

Yeah...
…every time the football team starts sucking it up they send out one of those emails. If you want to read it all just tell me and I’ll post it on here.

Letters about Booing
At least their AD isn’t sending out letters to not boo the competing team, like good old Mal did to us with Tulane!

And your problem is?
I thought it was classy that Moore sent that e-mail. Louisiana had just been whacked by another big hurricane, the team had been away from their families for over a week in unfamiliar surroundings, and we were probably going to beat them anyway, so why not cheer them? I would think it rather classless and trashy to boo a team that had undergone all of that. I would think about cheering LSU when they took the field if they endured that same set of circumstances.

Our team has been booed...
…by our own fans on several occasions.

I booed
on the inside everytime we lined up in the “elephant package” inside the 20 three straight times.

I only boo...
…officials…and boogs…and Phatty Phil…and Taco Bell when they don’t put enough cheese in my pintos-n-cheese.
But I have been at BDS when Tide fans booed the Tide. Once, at last year’s La. Monroe game, and earlier, at the 2006 “Shula’s-so-outta-here” Bama-MSU game. I didn’t boo, but it was hard to argue.

Boos for Shula
I think most of the booing during the Shula years were against Shula/coaching staff.
I’m not a boo-er myself (except bad calls and ‘welcoming’ the visitors) but if the team is getting pushed around by the likes of Duke, FIU, and ULM, I really don’t have a problem with the fans expressing their disgust (not by hanging over the tunnel and yelling ’you suck!) .

I used to boo when...
Steve Buchele, played for the Rangers and they’d call his name during the linup. But that wasn’t offensive in any way… I got nothing.
I don’t boo my team, I just cuss them for everything they are and are not. But never would I boo, that’s childish.

The first booing I recall...
…was the 20-3 loss to South Carolina in 2004. I’m sure it’s happened other times before that, but that’s the first one I really remember.
It was a dismal performance. The QBs were 10 of 24 for 67 yards, 0 TDs and 4 INTs. We were 0-11 on 3rd down conversions, etc.

All I remember...
…about that game was how we all thought Keith Brown was dead after eating a fence post, and how a certain quitterquarterback got sidelined for throwing a tantrum. Good times.
