Jinx?
I’m glad this was before the Tulane game lol. Plus, our coaching has improved a little bit since that last issue…

We did....
go 10-2 that year. I hope Saban keeps these young guys heads in check. We are just 1-0.
Auburn fans are like slinkys... not really good for anything but they still bring a smile to your face when you push them down a flight of stairs.

Great press, but...
I’d really like to see this, once we’ve put up our first conference win or run through the SEC gauntlet, successfully. Don’t get me wrong, I think the exposure is fantastic for the program, but it seems a little premature, given we haven’t even won our first SEC game, yet. After we knock off Arkansas, then bring on the cover!
I think it would have been great if they could have done a split shot with both Coffee AND Ingram on the cover, as they both did a bang-up job against Clemson.
Roll Tide!

I concur...
…it’s way too early for this hype. Beating up on a team that clearly wasn’t ready to play and rolled over immediately isn’t sending a warning to the rest of the SEC. We really don’t know what we have until UGA…

Arkansas
The next game I am looking forward to is the Arkansas game. It will be the first road game in the SEC for our team. I am looking forward to seeing how the younger players play in a hostile crowd, even though it should be a depleted Arkansas team.

I agree
that it is too early, but I love that pic anyway. I don’t know if we will beat Jawjuh, but I think we have as good a shot as any. And three of our top signees didn’t make a huuuge impact – Julio, Scott, and Harris – although CU keyed in on Julio and left others open.
Here’s to hoping Julio has his breakout game in Athens…
Roll Tide, Bitches!!!

I am not buying one
The last time we were on the cover (it was Brodie) and I was hesitant, but went ahead and made the purchase. Then on the following Saturday I stood in my front yard during halftime as we were getting played by Ole Miss and ripped the damn thing to shreds. Curse or not. Count me out.
I wouldn't piss off the boys from Alabama . . .

Coach Saban was on the cover before the season started last year.
