Coaches on the hot seat already....

I said before that I thought Croom and Fulmer would be on the hot seat by the end of this year. I think that Fulmer is WELL on his way to proving at least one of those predictions as true. Just check this:

Seems like the fans aren't quite happy about dropping 4 in a row to Florida. Of course, over his last 30 SEC games Fulmer is only hitting around the .500 mark. Not good.

My question is, assuming Mississippi State continues its downward spiral, will Croom be in any danger of losing his job at the end of this year, or will McCorvey be thrown under the bus?

I hope Fat Phil does lose his job!!!!

but UT could actually hire a decent coach to replace him. I hope Croom gets more time over there. I sometimes wonder if the Bulldogs over there really care about winning though.

Hell, here's a crazy thought...

I’d hate to see it in a way, but what if Croom got the freed-up job at UT? I mean, yeah, he hasn’t exactly had the most outstanding offense production at MSU, but look at what he’s dealing with on the recruiting front. UT would be a naturally better pull for recruiting, and Croom could finally give UT a defense worth talking about. It’d just be a helluva thing to see one of the Bear’s boys going to that pile of snitches, garbage truck workers and puke orange pumpkin lover (thanks BamaVicki for posting that link again)

What?

Mississippi State has had the most over-rated defense over the last two years. They gave up 500 + yards to GT yesterday.

Race has nothing to do with it, he is just not a good coach.

Why is it overrated?

Yes, GT ran all over them for 500+ yards with Paul Johnson’s new spread attack at GT. Johnson’s making it work there. I think if MSU’s defense is overrated, it’s because of the lack of talent, not because of the lack of coaching. I think Croom is quite defensively minded. But SpockJenkins is right – even though I’m loathe to say it about even one of our rivals – race would be a factor. But that’s why I said it was a crazy thought ;)

Sly Croom...

…would look TERRIBLE in orange. I can’t imagine that happening. I remember when the Snake was arrested and the pic had him in that horrible orange jail jumpsuit. He must have been about to crawl out of his skin. Not to mention the arrest. Sorry, it was just the first thing I thought of. Since I’ve been in Australia, today was the first game I heard on the radio and I missed Kenny, though Tyler Watts was on today and did an excellent job.

…Blog Mom post of Todd’s till way late on Friday. I decline the nomination if I have to set a good example for others in anything but the love of the University of Alabama. I drink, cuss, and gamble. No drugs or smoking, though, so I don’t have all the vices. Of course, Todd must have nominated me because I live to give him a hard time and he still hasn’t admitted that he missed me when I was in Australia. Which game do you think he’s saving that embarrassing admission for – UcheaT or Asshat led LSwho or Aubarn?

nomination. I think everyone here knows i well…..we wont go in details here. But, i shall clean up the act. It is a family site and i know there are some people that might take offense and thats not cool. But hey, Im still game for a good story to shoot out of these lighting key fingers and offer some expert lady advice if need be.

Boycott

How about all of their talk about boycotting the next home game. They sound like barners. It is a thought that came to me last week while I was recreationally argue with a barner on AL.com and trying to come up with an alternative to the words #$%# ,$&& and $&##$%^ that would not get deleted from the thread.

Barners do not understand that fans are there to support the team. I think they honestly think that the team is there to support them. The same line of thinking that leads a fan base to boo their own team or boycott their home game. Once I came to that “bathroom wall” revelation (whether it is right or wrong) I finally started to understand them and quit arguing with them.

I have to either stop drinking.... or drink more
