Texas Tech

Todd,

What is up with the love for Texas Tech? Which of their non-confrence (Big Sky, WAC, C-USA, Colonial Athletic Association) wins has really impressed you? This team year in and year out plays probably the softest non-confrence schedule of any BCS team. They make a living on beating these no bodies. I would at least put Alabama ahead of them. At least we have beaten two BCS teams, including a confrence opponent. I have a feeling you are going to end up regretting the Texas Tech love.

When Texas Tech does something...

…to merit a drop, then I’ll drop them. It’s still too early in the season for any kind of accuracy in polls, at least in my opinion, so for right now it is what it is.

Differ

That is one way to think about it. I prefer to think about what they have done to merit their position, more so than what they have done to merit a drop in the polls. I think the poll position should be earned.

It is what it is...

…depending on what your definition of is is.

?????? UT

UT isn’t what it used to be why should Florida leap frog LSU? BS

by BAMALODI on Sep 22, 2008 3:47 PM CDT reply actions

Because

Florida is a much better squad than LSwho is

Hell, no! A tie is like kissing your sister!

WHY???

Is there a reason??? What is the justification? LSU just went to Toomer’s corner and won which is no easy please to win. Auburn is a talented group!

by BAMALODI on Sep 22, 2008 3:58 PM CDT reply actions

True it isnt an easy place to win

but look who Florida has on its team, Teblow….hate him or not he is amazing, and percy harvin, you want me to keep going? Alright, next look at Coaching, ummm———lets take a vote would you rather have les miles or urban myer? Im take myer all day long over leslie. Florida just went a beat a good Tennessee team in Knoxville( which has not been kind to the gators) and LSU has won the last 2 in Auburn. Auburn is in bad shape, and this week you will see UT is a better team

Hell, no! A tie is like kissing your sister!

Tebow

Agreed, Tebow is the difference between those two teams. They both have a tremendous amount of talent on both sides of the ball, but only one has a player like Tebow at the QB position.
