Bama vs UGA predictions!
I know its only Tuesday and there is a ways to go before this epic game kicks off but it seems a lot of you will be leaving early for Athens this week. So, lets go ahead and get those predictions thrown out there. I have been thinking long and hard about this game since Saturday and i feel i have a good grasp on what might transpire in Athens. This might be a little winded, but my name is Bammer....
**cracks his knuckles**
I'll start off by saying that UGA should beat us by 14. They are the #3 team in the country, they are more experienced, they have a better QB and they have home field advantage. But like I said, they should. I should have a 12 inch.....sub from Publix right now, I should be a millionair and damnt I should be going to this game but the should doesn't me shit! This is the SEC and as we have seen many times before, anything can happen. The guys over at Alligator Army seem to think we, and i quote, "Are going to get our asses kicked". Im not so sure about that. The thing is I can't come to a final score prediction. I definetly don't see us getting trounced. These two teams are way to similiar to put a number on the final score. So what's my prediction? Well, i don't have one but i do have some "keys" that might help tell what might happen.
1. UGA O-line vs Alabama's front 7: Biggest match-up of the night. If Alabama is unable to stop the run with the front 7 and can't get pressure on Stafford with the front 4, Bobbo's offense will pick us apart. Not because we are terrible in the defensive back field, its just that Stafford and his recieving core are that good. What we do have is the beast Terrance Cody to plug the middle and as stated in another thread, he will be facing a freshman at center for UGA. Our d-line is the strength of our defense and UGA's oline is their weakest link. They say it starts in the trenches and those words have never been more true.
Advantage: Alabama
2. UGA's D-line vs Alabama's O-line: Another battle up front and another key point to this game. IMO Bama's o-line is as good as any in the country. We have experience, amazing talent and most importantly depth. We have shown the ability to move guys around and have them play different positions but still be productive. UGA's d-line isn't exactly something that has me worried but they have shown the ability to put pressure on the QB. Something that our O-line has struggled to prevent. We must open holes for the running backs and give JPW time to make the right read. If we don't. Watch out!
Advantage: Alabama
3. Stafford vs Wilson: No brainer here. JPW is a solid QB but he is no Stafford. This kid can make all the throws and has a rocket for an arm. He will be a future top 5 NFL pick, Wilson won't be.
Advantage: UGA
4. Special Teams: This one is tough to pick. Javy give's Bama the edge in return man but our kick coverage has been suspect. If UGA's smart, Javy will never get a chance to touch the ball. If Bama's smart, we learn how to stay in our lanes in kick coverage and not over pursue. I could see this game coming down to a field goal or field position. So in many ways, a lot like last year.
Advantage: Push
5. Running Game: Glenn Coffee, Roy Upchruch, Mark Ingram and Terry Grant are all fine backs and to be honest Ingram is going to be a freakin beast but not one of them can compare to Knowshon Moreno. He's a Reggie Bush type back and if you give him a inch, he'll take 100 yards. We might have the better o-line but that kid is the X-factor in this game. If we don't contaiin him its going to be a long night.
Advantage: UGA
Its almost too early to predict a score. My heart says Alabama but my head says UGA. This the biggest game an Alabama has faced in years and could possibly be the catalyst to an amazing year. It could also end in weeping and nashing of teeth. Im going with Alabama in this one because of our defensive and offensive lines. Football is won in the trenches and we cleary have the advantage here. No score prediction but i do think we win. How about you?

I will refrain
because I have not gone on the record this year with a score prediction and I don’t want to change anything from my weekly and gameday routine.
Can I take this time to make a plea that no one should modify their gameday activity from the last four weeks (same shirt, hat, drink, etc.) or the loss will be your fault.
I wouldn't piss off the boys from Alabama . . .
I started right after the Clemson game...
same shorts, shirt, draws, socks, shoes…same pre-game meal and everything…
so far so good…

Hey guys i just joined roll bama roll today. I have been coming to the site for weeks now and decided to join. I’m a huge Bama fan and always have been. My prediction is…
Bama 27
Georgia 24
38-41
Bama Wins in OT, UGA looses toss-makes FG, Bama repays last year with a strike from JPW to JJ, ball game
Hell, no! A tie is like kissing your sister!
DITTO
Im telling you…..the RBR shirt design needs to have the logo on the front and on the back say “Killing the Work ethic of The Crimson Nation”
Hell, no! A tie is like kissing your sister!
Score!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
The only thing ive heard from georgia fans is talk about the backout, nothing about their team. This is the game that Georgia puts away those cheesy ass jerseys, Bama rolls on my birthday 27 – 17. And please dont ever let us get caught up in any B.S.like that !! RTR
Why so conservative....
We have had the habit this year of clearing the opponent’s seats through mid 3rd quarter….“yey, its a black out” will soon have them saying “hey, lets head out”
37-14 Bama…….and thats IF Saban puts the bench in…..ROOOLLLLL TIDE Beotches!
Tigers Hide and rooooll that TIDE!
or...
“It will be much easier to identify how many of your fans have left by the fourth quarter.” haha.

OK,OK
Hell, lets make it 48- 17, I like the way you think JIGGA. RTR
HOW TIGHT WOULD IT BE
To have UGA fans leaving @ the half like Florida had UT fans leaving last weekend!!!!
Hell, no! A tie is like kissing your sister!
Alabama 27 UGA 23
Mark that one down! The Tide has been awesome all year long, and still it seems like nobody is giving us any credit. The thing is, Alabama hasn’t let us down yet. We have NO reason to doubt them! Our average ppg is Alabama 36 Opponent 9! Bama wins and the barners are eating their words! ROLL TIDE!!!!
They are scared..
thats why they are bringing out the black jerseys. Richt knows they are in for a fight and wants to give his team a “mental edge” by getting them pumped up. But hey, you can get whipped in black just as good as you can in red lol! RTR!!!
...yes the are.
Remember Richt’s closed practice last year? They should have smoked us, but we took them to overtime with a suspect team. I like our chances, but no predictions. By the way, I am a Georgia grad, and will be going to Athens for the game, but don’t have tickets. Grew up in a Bama family. Often asked if not cheering for UGA is a disloyal act, and I always explain that not cheering for Bama would be a supreme act of disloyalty.
Roll Tide.
"We will empty your stadium before the 4th Quarter"
We are talking about the UGA game
Not the Auburn game right? :)
Don't take life to seriously, you'll never get out alive.
oh yea
but the barn looses too, UT wins, and UGA beats LSU later this year
Hell, no! A tie is like kissing your sister!
I'll say Bama 31 UGA 28
No disrespect to Moreno but I just see Cody wreaking havoc with th young’un on the dogs O line. But we’ll see.
RTR

UGA...
…Coach Marky Mark and his funky bunch of bulldogs are at it again. First, the call for the big game blackout. Now, Mr. Mini-butt-cut has decided to close practices again. I guess that, tomorrow, he will announce that he has decided to step down as head coach after this game. Thursday, he will post fictional statements attributed to Bama players (“Knowshon, Leigh Tiffin said he’s gonna kick…your booty!”). Friday, Herschel Walker will visit to deliver a speech about David and Goliath to inspire UGA’s center as he confronts Mr. Terrence Cody. Finally, in Saturday’s pre-game talk, the Richter will bellow, “They may take our lives, but they will never take…our freedom!”
Seriously, at this point, if his team loses, how will he ever motivate them again?

My prediction is that...
it will definitely be on Saturday although I am a little shaky on the time right now. I will get back to you later this week.
I think it's going to be an ugly slobberknocker
We get 1-2 long sustained drives, and some cheap points off a Stafford pick and/or Arenas return. They dink and dunk us to death with screens and quick slants, and do just enough in the running dept to keep the game pretty well tied up. I think special teams in the end, and our ability to feed running plays to middle of the field, while sustaining a ball control attack does just enough.

We have faced great backs before !
Remember Thunder and Lightning? Knowshon is a great back however, Terence cody is a beast ,and Knoshwon has never takin shoots from then likes of McClain, Hall and the other big guys we have upfront. All I’m hearing is how Az St got whipped by the Dawgs however ,Az St was beaten by a lower tear school ‘UNLV’. The Dawgs struggled against S.C. which is a decent team, not great and they should have won if you watched it.
Bama 31 Georgia 21
Rolling with the Tide!!!!
