Athens to be a little more "Electric"?
With last nights loss at the lips hands of the Beavers, USC is likely to drop out of the top 10, thus removing the road block in Georgia's NC journey, and even Bama's longshot for that matter. What impact do you think it will have on Saturday's game, if any? I know that it was already a huge game for both teams, however, I think the stage is growing. One would think playtime is over as the stakes just got a little higher. I am not suggesting a change in gameplan, only a change in psyche for both teams. Just wanted your thoughts, I am confident that we are going to see the best of the Tide and the Dawgs, and just hope it is not a demoralizing loss to either team.

I agree with everything you said except that “USC is likely to drop out of the top 10”.
I don’t see voters putting them below any of the following teams:
10. Texas Tech 4-0
11. Brigham Young 4-0
12. Penn State 4-0
13. South Florida 4-0
Let alone, below tOSU at 14.
Word on the street here in Atlanta
Is that this ticket is the hardest to get UGA has seen in 30 years if not ever. Funny…whenever Alabama comes to town….people go bonkers!
Don't take life to seriously, you'll never get out alive.
My thoughts Chief
I believe the loss that the Beaver put on the Trojans puts more pressure on a once #1 rated team this year. Georgia has an opportunity to gain back the ground that they lost, really for no reason. I have read just about every analysis on the UGA and Bama game on why one team will beat the other team and so on and so forth. The team that makes the fewest mistakes and plays the best tomorrow will win. I hope its a good playing day for the Tide and not a USC I shouldn’t got out of bed this morning type game. But, that type game can happen to anybody, including Georgia(just ask Clemson). For a die hard Alabama fan, I am extremely pleased and surprised at the current situation that CNS has placed the crimson tide in and there playing attitude. I never thought we would be 4-0 going into this game. My hope for the game is that the Tide blows them out or it goes down to the last minute and we pull it out. But, if not I know that the Georgia Bulldogs will represent the SEC well, after all; we are the strongest conference in the land.
ROOOOOLLLLL TIDE!!!!!!!
No more motivation was needed...
I believe that both teams are already peaked as to whether they are motivated to play this game. I don’t think you’ll see either team go into this game with the attitude that USC seem to have toward OSU for 2 reasons…..
1. Its two of the best teams playing in the SEC, if you can’t get up for this kind of game, you shouldn’t even be suiting up at all.
2. Both head coaches are class acts and great motivators in games like this.
It will be a game for the ages….Better have your game face on, the house cleared out and drinks and food ready… This is gonna be good. Roll Tide.
After the USC loss...
it never occured to me that this would make this game ‘mean more’ to UGA. The first thing I thought was that the path is being cleared for BAMA.
This reminds me of poll watching ‘back in the day’- it was always about the path being cleared for, and Bama playing it’s way into contention. We’ve got just as much to play for as UGA does and they’re in OUR way!
I know it seems too good to be true, but the NC is there for the taking and it’s time for us to take it. Just because we’re ‘not supposed to be in contention ’til next year, or the next’ doesn’t mean we have to concede it this year.
We do not have to be the best team in the nation to win the NC- just the better team Saturday night..etc., etc.
I know you younger guys and girls may talk about Bama’s goal is to win the NC, but do you really believe it?
USC’s loss last night is paving the way for ALABAMA- We should have just as much motivation to win it all as they do!!
This is what being a Bama fan was like practically every year when I was growing up- pretty wild, huh?
