An interesting stat that ESPN tossed up on the screen last night was the amount of time this season that the boys have spent ahead, behind, and tied. It was impressive. Still is, actually:
- Ahead: 273:22
- Tied: 26:38
- Behind: 00:00
That's two-hundred and seventy three minutes spent ahead. Over four-and-a-half hours of game clock... in real time that's like a month or something, given all of the commercial breaks. I have no idea what Saban has done in Tuscaloosa to get this team to where it is now from where it was a year ago, but I like it.
What I really want to know is where all the folks are who spent the off-season calculating how much Saban got paid per-win last year? Doesn't seem like such a stupid investment anymore.
