Todd's Friday Embarassing Admission: Week Two

I have to ashamedly admit going to see Korn on more than one occasion in college. I think its fine for anybody between the ages of 15-22 to listen to that. Once you get past that age, though, it seems ridiculous. For the bands as well. How can people in their late 30’s identify with 15 year olds? You can drive yourself to the Hot Topic at that age, so what do you have to complain about??……..

I don’t have any embarresing Metal admissions but i do have a pop music admission. I bought the Kelly Clarkson “Breakaway” album and can currently sing along with every song with out missing a word…..now thats embarressing!

well mine this week happened this week. I thought it was only the two girls that work for me and myself in the office on tuesday. And i was riding high from watching ut loose and Alabama win over the weekend. So, on my XM radio came the Celin Deon song “my heart will go on”. I sang every last word of that song without hitting a single note, i would say my singing is as good as UT was in the 2nd half monday. Well, after the song was over, i heard a round of applouse. Both girls had people with them and there were people wating in the lobey.

to complain that Metallica is considered classic rock now. The Hot Topic remark was priceless!

My embarrasing admission shall wait until the week of Georgia.

I like Linkin Park. The Numb Encore Mix is the best. Them and Jay-Z…then again I listen to all kinds of music and work in the music industry.

Since we’re going with Nü-Metal admissions this week….

I think I have every P.O.D. album except for the first two. And I’ve seen them live 2-3 times.

Here goes… I can sing along to the Buffy the Vampire Slayer musical episode. I know the words backwards and forwards.

Metallica, Linkin Park and Foo Fighters mixed in with Mercy Me, Eagles and Carrie Underwood in the same CD holder in my manly truck. I feel weird now.

Here goes… my girlfriend not only likes that song, but actually sang along when she played the YouTube.

That alone should get us a win.

And she wants to know when she’s getting her Chick-Fil-A Prize Pack.

What the hell is going on in this video?!?!?!?! And WHY are you listening to that? hahaha I’m 16 and I would never listen to that crap. Only classic rock for me man.
