I think Urban can win his second championship
and man is the SEC packed. Who would’ve thought Georgia could be second place in it’s own division?!?! Man it’s tough.
On a side note, I cant wait to see Prince Hall lining up next to McLain and Hightower.
This blog's ballot
This blog’s ballot is the aggregate ballot of two bloggers. I’m guessing that means one blogger had them ranked fairly low and the other didn’t have them ranked at all and that the scheme for the combined ballot left them barely out of the mix.
What he said.
I had them ranked at #17, while OTS doesn’t have them ranked at all, and without his points they didn’t have enough points to crack the top 25 (though if I’m remembering correctly, they were at #26).
Think USF is in for a serious, serious fall
Just a few observations about your #20 team:
That slap fight with UCF was inexcusable. For a team whose identity is built on clutch passing, sound special teams and punishing defense, how on God’s earth do they go to OT with the Knights? UCF has serious holes on defense, and lost a 2K rusher, yet they played the Bulls to a draw? Despite Grothe and Selvie?
The real shame, of course, is that a marginally overrated KU squad will be the only true non-conference test for the Bulls this year. Thereafter, it’s the other cripple fights in the suddenly-flagging Big (L)East. Even those are not gimmes based on what I saw Saturday evening. This team will lose at least three-four regular season games.

And, yes, Cal should be ranked...16-17 sounds right.
I honestly do not think that Wake, Utah, South Florida, BYU, Vanderbilt or Georgia Tech are better teams than the Golden Bears.
