Why is nobody talking about the Big East?

I know this is not technically Bama related, but I had to ask anyway: Why is nobody talking about how bad the Big East is?

After the first week everyone was talking about the putridity of the ACC; and rightfully so.  But after two weeks I think it's clear that the Big East is set for a terrible season.  The conference is 8-7 so far, with 5 of those wins coming against FCS opponents and the other three coming against non-BCS teams.  Its only two undefeated teams, UCONN and USF, both needed overtime last week to beat Temple and UCF, respectively.  And with four games against moderately decent BCS schools this week, it is very possible the entire conference will start the season 8-11 with only 7 total games against BCS teams (all losses).  While the ACC has been bad, they at least had Wake beat Ole Miss.  The best win on the Big East's slate right now is Central Florida.  Is it possible that no Big East team will finish with more than nine wins?
