"He told me that I was coming in to be his left tackle next year and I needed to be ready. He said I could come in and have an impact like no other freshman in the country. I told him I will be ready."

Alabama commitment D.J. Fluker, summarizing the conversation that he had with Coach Saban this weekend during his official visit to Tuscaloosa.

That's what I like to hear...

HELL YES!

He sounds pretty solid. LSU worried me for a while, as they are going hard after DJ. But we probably won’t be as big an impact anywhere else in the SEC.

What Would Don Draper Do?

If Fluker can come in...

…and play LT right away, that would free up Carpenter to replace Marlon Davis at G and really help keep the line play solid.

if that's the case

then hopefully Massie can come in and take the RT spot? either way, looking for to DJ and Cody having some sumo matches as well as eating contests. haha.

The picture of Fluker with McCarron

Our local paper ran a pic of Fluker standing next to McCarron. Fluker’s arms are wider than McCarron’s head. What a beast!! And a 4.9 for the 40 with all that mass—unbelievable.
