As a fellow Bama fan, it is always hard to see these guys graduate and move on with there lives but its especially hard to see one that has progressed and matured along so much along the way. 3 year's ago John Parker Wilson came in on a late drive against hated rival Auburn to lead Bama to a score in a devastating 28-18 loss to Auburn. Who knew 3 years later he would walk away with all sorts of Bama records. John Parker Wilson has had his ups and downs and at times left you wonder " what the hell was he thinking?". John Parker Wilson was the QB nobody expected to keep this starting job. He is no Tim Tebow and I'm glad he isn't. JPW has his own strengths and weakness unlike Tebow he wasn't compared to Superman and he didn't ware his achievements on his sleeve. He wasn't a proven winner but yet he fought for every victory and he accepted blame for every loss. He didn't put up great numbers at the end of the game and he wasn't even close to being in contention for the Hesimen trophy year after year but hey thats ok. He was the kid that filled Brodie Croyles shoes and grew into his own legend at Bama, but most importantly at the end of the day, he was Bama's QB. So i would like to say Thank you John Parker Wilson and the rest of the Alabama Seniors for FINALLY beating Auburn and a great season. You all will be greatly greatly missed! Good Luck with your future lives I'm sure you will make the best of them. Roll Tide! looking for to doing again 11-0 and hopefully we will get at least one more shot to prove to the world that Tim Tebow isn't superman.
