Greg Reid Saying "Roll Tide" To Friends?

Greg Reid wasn't even sure he was going to visit Alabama last Thursday night. He was checking out flights for Tennessee. Nevertheless, Reid ended up going to Alabama the next day, and now it looks like the Crimson Tide is a serious contender. Reid joked with friends and classmates at school on Monday, repeatedly saying "Roll Tide." However, he was very serious when he talked about his impression of Alabama coach Nick Saban. The All-America defensive back from Lowndes said he will make an official visit to Georgia on Friday, even though at least a half-dozen schools - including Miami, Auburn, and Tennessee - are trying to bump the Bulldogs out of the way.

in my mind would be a long shot. But I tell you this guy is good. I think he will go to UGA so at least he won’ t be going to UF.

Why did he de-commit from Florida? He gave FSU a 10 out of 10 grade on his visit. I have also heard rumors that he may be lucky to even get into school with his academic problems. It seems like there is more than meets the eye with him….
That being said, if he chooses to ride with the Tide, that can’t be a bad thing!
Reid will end up at FSU
He was UF’s first 2009 verbal commit as a junior back in 2007, but backed out after watching Joe Haden and Janoris Jenkins play this year as a sophomore and freshman – figuring that he wouldn’t see the field in ’09. He asked Urban if he would start and Urban said no promises. Bowden tells everyone they will start immediately….plus we know academics are no issue at FSU….
I think the only reason UGA is back in the mix is because Asher Allen left, opening up a corner spot for Reid to start right away.

True Story
He was being interviewed here pre-season by Gene Deckerhoff and a caller asked if they were still giving away the tomahawks to players who made outstanding plays (helmet decals), caller noted that they had for reprimands in the past taken them away, what was the story.
Bowden looks at Deckerhoff says “Is that true, do we take them away as well?”
