Around SBN: MLB Trade Deadline: Astros' fans react to Oswalt trade

What is it????

So the opening shots of the Bama team leaving the locker room at the Sugar Bowl, showed each of them touching an object as they moved into the tunnel.  I've been asking, and none of my friends knows...what the heck is it?  It looks like it is about a foot long and white and looked to be round, tubular.  Almost looks like it is a piece of railing from somewhere.  Can any of you give me the scoop?  I've googled and searched to no avail.

Perhaps...

a LSD laiden piece of one of those huge candy canes…based on the lackadaisical play in the Sugar Bowl of course.

When Bama players...

…leave the locker room for the field at BDS, they reach up and touch what appears to be a white piece of PVC pipe with the word ‘WIN’ in crimson letters on it. I’m guessing that may be what you saw.

Oh, I never knew that

that thing was indeed a small section of PVC pipe that may or may not have said WIN, but what the hell does it mean? Anyone know. Now Bamaskigirl has me curious.

I wouldn't piss off the boys from Alabama . . .

Well

I would think that someone put it there to help motivate the players play well and perhaps “win” the game…but scholars suggest the translation has been lost…

…too much sarcasm?

When you are an Alabama fan you are expected to hate Auburn, I hate Tennessee because I want to.

We are ALABAMA FOOTBALL

Can’t we do better than a stupid piece of PVC pipe? Get a rock or something!

With Apologies To Randy Edsall, The Big East Remains Mostly Harmless

FILE -- This is an Oct. 18, 2008 file photo showing Connecticut corner back Jasper Howard (6) trying to get the crowd into the game during the fourth quarter of an NCAA college football game against Rutgers, in Piscataway, N.J. Jasper Howard had his little sisters' names tatooed on his chest. His friends say it was a constant reminder of why he was at U Conn _ to provide his family with a better life than the one he had in Miami's Little Haiti. (AP Photo/Mel Evans, File) link
