The Top Ten Alabama Moments of 2008: #10 - The &$#%^&^# Funeral
Alabama S&C Coach Scott Cochran was proven a gridiron prophet in the week leading up to the Tide's trip to Athens when he famously muttered during practice that Georgia was "wearing black because they're going to a *&%%$#%^& funeral!" (about the 1:04 mark) The internets were abuzz with this obvious bulletin board material from a member of the heavy underdog's staff, until Saturday night came and the Tide quickly jumped out to a 31-0 lead before the half. That win, coupled with the season opening beatdown of a top ten ranked Clemson, catapulted Alabama into the national spotlight and on track to their first #1 ranking in 15 years.

I dunno
that one was a lot higher than #10 for me.

will the game itself make an appearance?
or is this it? cause yeah, the funeral remark, coupled with the brutality we inflicted on georgia, while everyone had us picked to lose, was probably #1 if i’m going to be honest. yes whoppin barn was great and also could be #1, but we SHOULD HAVE BEATIN THEM, same goes for LSU. the georgia game was awesome, and it was also basically the highest point of achievement we reached all year.
not to be an ingrate though
thanks for reposting, cause scott cochran is a badass and this clip is priceless.
Stings, don't it?
Were the Tide wearing crimson in the SupaDome because they were going to a bloodbath?
Dun feed the trolls :)
