"If you are fortunate enough to spend five minutes around Tim Tebow, your life is better for it."

I just turned the MNC Game off because I cannot stand one more second of idiotic announcers slobbering all over Tim Tebow. Yes, he is an amazing player, but he is not Jesus. Give it a rest.

Could we really get that lucky? My daughter (10 yrs) said “Mom, is Tebow REALLY only a junior???” She looked so sad when I said yes. =( Do you think he would leave if he knew he was giving little girls nightmares?

Feet and ankle massage? When I was pregnant, they made me stop getting pedi’s because the ladies at the salon massaged my feet and ankles and they said it induced labor. When I was 10 days late and no signs of her coming, they said go back to the salon (Hallelujah!!!) and she was born the next day! Did it work? I don’t know, but I am thankful I didn’t have to go through induction.

Both ten days. When each mother ate a pineapple and mayonnaise sandwich, they went into nice, quick labors the very next day.

All I'm saying is that BAMA and JPW...

scored more point on FL than the OK “#1 offense ever” did in the first half. I’m proud to say that at least.

But those two red zone stops by FL were eye opening.

by brandonh on Jan 8, 2009 9:02 PM CST reply actions

Okie will lament not kicking those field goals.

This ain’t a video game, Stoops. You can’t get greedy with the points.

I’m doubting Stoops ever took high school physics. Doesn’t everyone know that the shortest distance between two points is a straight line?

by AggieBammer on Jan 8, 2009 9:10 PM CST up reply actions

The Oklahoma defense's lives are better now..

…they spent a lot of time around Tebow in the first half. I hope they better themselves even more in the 2nd.

by yellowhammer on Jan 8, 2009 9:08 PM CST reply actions

If that statement is truth, what happened to all of our guys??? They met Mr. Tebow and then felt worse. Can we get a refund?

by crimsongirl on Jan 8, 2009 9:14 PM CST up reply actions

Tebow is not a great player.

He’s a fullback that can throw a ball every once and a while. Two interceptions + many VERY BAD lame duck throws with defensive hands on him.

Tebow will be an afterthought in the NFL.

by Adam Schultz on Jan 8, 2009 9:11 PM CST reply actions

The Fullback that can kinda throw...

…is total BS. The kid is a great QB and has finished in the top 5 in passing efficiency the past two years.

by Todd on Jan 8, 2009 9:48 PM CST up reply actions

Because he hardly throws it.

:-D I’m sorry. I just can’t like that Bible thumping attention/ball hogging “role model.” It’s nothing to do with his assumed talent. It’s his personality.

why throw?

Really

Did he just say F’ing Tebow lived in an orphanage and a LEPER COLONY? He’s probably even still a virgin. Anyway, this game does help the argument for the SEC defense.

by rolltidefromaz on Jan 8, 2009 10:40 PM CST reply actions

Yeah

the leper colony thing is pretty outrageous. I don’t doubt that it is true (since a man of Timothy’s faith could survive a blitzkrieg surge all by himself, but I have a vivid recollection of watching “Ben-Hur” or “The Robe”, whichever it was, as a youngster at this old-fashioned movie theater in my hometown, and the lepers, as depicted by 1950’s Hollywood makeup artists, were horrifying.

If Tebow really did that, I’m impressed, but I won’t shake his hand.

Bama claims 12 while SUC and Notre Lame claim 11. but one more nat’l title and that ties us with Notre Lame for most titles since the inception of the AP poll (1936). i think that solidifies Bama as the program with the most nat’l titles.
