Yeah
I thought the same thing this morning, our only losses are to #1 & #2. Not horrible when you think about it, at least thats what I’m going to tell myself until August.

If memory serves me right...
If memory serves me right….at the beginning of the year someone (writer) from ESPN, YAHOO, or CBS had Alabama ranked #6. At first glance I thought maybe they were talking about recruiting class, but the article went on to explain what Saban was able to do in his second years at Michigan State and LSU. This was written pre-season. So, I guess there are a few prophetic writers still out there…unlike Mark “Georgia Bulldog” Schlabach.

6th
is a helluva season when I would have been pumped with 10 wins. If we can get some good OL play next yr we have a strong shot at another SEC CG.
Auburn fans are like slinkys... not really good for anything but they still bring a smile to your face when you push them down a flight of stairs.

OL
will be important considering there is a strong possibility we’ll have the best backfield in college football.

Ok
so if Harvin stays, UF is probably the best, but other than that who is going to be better than us next year in that dept? We have good RB’s coming out of our ears right now.

Proud and sad at the same time...
…for our 9 seniors. I hope they eventually look back at this season, recognize how much they accomplished for themselves and the program, and don’t just remember how the season ended. I hope they know that all the fans thank them for the awesome ride this year. I won’t forget these 9 EVER.
At the beginning of the season, I would have been thrilled with a #6 ranking at the end. Being #1 spoils you a bit and then #6 isn’t quite as thrilling, but I’m still pretty happy because I know we’re going to get there with The Process.

The Top 2
Since the BCS is designed for the Top 2 teams to play for the championship, shouldn’t the winner be #1 and the loser still be #2?

I've
thought the same thing, shouldn’t it be just like getting to the gold medal round in basketball or hockey? Loser gets silver, right?

I just had a great thought,,, what if we had some sort of …whats the word … some sort of playoff … I cant believe nobody ever thought of this before. Then #1 and #2 could be decided in one game.
