I’m heading to a bar with my Tennessee fan buddy. Going to watch the morning games there and come back to my place for the bama and later games.

What you're seeing is team spirit. It's like the Holy Spirit, but more powerful.

you kidding??

Arkansas beating Auburn, Kentucky beating SC, and Tennessee beating Georgia…. I would argue these morning games are better than any early ones this season.

They're better on paper...

…but a lot of these teams kind of suck in reality.

I'm watching the

Tebow-Fellate-Fest (a/k/a Gameday), then watching Auburn’s secondary flail around helplessly in Fayetteville.

Yes, Charlie, teams have struggled...

Just NOT against a slate of 1-4 Purdue, 2-3 UW, and 2-3 Sparty. The team with a winning record? Yep, you lost to them…and they suck.

VT’s touchdown was a play remarkably similar to the final play of the game against Nebraska. Tyrod Taylor scrambled around for about ten seconds, got away from a sure sack and heaved it into the endzone where he had a guy open.

I’m going down to Cowtown
The cow’s a friend to me
Lives beneath the ocean and that’s where I will be
Beneath the waves, the waves
And that’s where I will be
I’m gonna see the cow beneath the sea

The yellow Roosevelt Avenue leaf overturned
The ardor of arboreality is an adventure we have spurned, we’ve spurned
A new leaf overturned
It’s a new leaf overturned

And so I’m going down to Cowtown
The cow’s a friend to me
Lives beneath the ocean and that’s where I will be
Beneath the waves, the waves
And that’s where I will be
I’m gonna see the cow beneath the sea

We yearn to swim for home, but our only home is bone
How sleepless is the egg knowing that which throws the stone
Foresees the bone, the bone
Our only home is bone
Our only home is bone

And so I’m going down to Cowtown
The cow’s a friend to me
Lives beneath the ocean and that’s where I will be
Beneath the waves, the waves
And that’s where I will be

I want to try it that way...

The girl wasn’t crazy about the chicken, and we had frozen chili beef in the fridge so we used that instead of the flank steak, but even so it still turned out great.

We also cut back on the peppers slightly thinking it would be too hot, but honestly it really wasn’t bad at all. For the dark beer we used a Guiness, and that actually gave it a tad bit of a sweet taste. Next time I think we’ll go with more of an earthy lager and go all out on the peppers.

Either way, we all ate the shit out of it. Damn fine eats.

That's it...

… still doesn’t seem too smart, though. I know it makes it a two-possession game, but the odds of you picking up three two-point conversions is almost zero.

And now you create a situation to where if Arkansas can just get a field goal, Auburn is going to need three touchdowns to just force overtime.
