Maybe all that Heisman Talk & Julio Criticism Took Its Toll
After missing part of the third quarter, I started watching the game from the beginning on the DVR. After watching how often McElroy locked in on Julio—sheesh, my grandmother could play safety against that sort of transparency, and she’s dead—I can’t help but wonder how much the new awards hype (not just the Heisman) and the critiques about getting the ball to Julio had an influence on him.
You can't win. You can't break even. You can't get out of the game.

One thing to remember...
Ole Miss is one of the best teams in the country at red zone defense — under 40 percent TDs coming in. I would have liked to have a couple of those field goals turn to TDs, but it’s not all that surprising that they didn’t. We did awfully well considering that they limited our big plays, and Ole Miss never seriously threatened to take the lead, or even get it within a score after we went up 16.
Went for it...

Eh...
… we damn well ought to.
That VT win is the most impressive win of any team in the country, and I know our offense was frustrating as fuck, but we still beat a top 20 team on the road 22-3. That’s one damn strong statement.

Agreed. Winning by three scores over a ranked team at their house when they had EVERY FUCKING REASON to be motivated to upset us, yeah, I’ll take that.
You can't win. You can't break even. You can't get out of the game.

I'll take a
ugly win over a pretty loss
This upcoming season I'm gonna refer to Julio Jones as "The Magic Man" and Trent Richardson as "El Diablo"

Eh, not really...
A bad performance by the offense, but the defense played the game of a lifetime today.
If a 22-3 win over a top 20 team on the road can be considered much of an “ugly” win, as a whole, we’re going to win the damn Super Bowl.

But, you know we can play better than this...
It’s called in-game adjustments
Got that winning feelin'

Eh, just didn't...
… hasn’t played much lately anyway, and is still not 100% healthy.
As much as we threw it, though, it is a bit of a surprise he didn’t play today.

Good news
guys. This badass defense gets another linebacker to play with next week in Jerrell Harris.

Exactly...
Honestly, I will go on the record saying this…
Today’s defensive performance may have been the best I’ve seen by Alabama since January 1st, 1993.

If not
as good it ranks up there with that performance. The defense was dominant.

Alright guys, got to go...
Wife thinks she might be having contractions. Glad we got the game out of the way first. :)
Congrats & good luck!

Time to Vent
1. Why in the fuck did we throw it so much today? Obviously GMAC didn’t hear his own interview about progressions this week.
2. Fuck those goddamn fucking announcers; how much more obvious could it be that they were wanting an upset. Jesus, i wish i still lived in bama so i could hear Eli. Is there anyway to still get him by satellite??? FUCK I HATE THEM!
Felt good to win another game though besides that.
Ahhh feels better.

I'm always happy with an Alabama win...
The offense was good and struggled at times, but that’s going to happen – Ole Miss has a legit defense. I didn’t really understand McElroy zeroing in on Julio a lot, but we still put up 22 points. I can’t help but think how much bigger the score would’ve been had we scored more TDs.
Defense is getting better each week, and I would like to know if the new LB play is more indicative of their preparation and level of readiness rather than Ole Miss’ swiss cheese O-line.
Thanks
I completely forgot about 99.5.
How much did the freshman LB’s play today?
