Bully Van de Graaff’s brother, Hargrove, tried to tear off his own ear in a game against Tennessee. It was dangling from his head, and his teammates had to stop him from finishing the job. Guy just wanted to get back in the game….

Both “Hog” and “Bully” Van de Graaff played in the 1913 Tennessee game, so the legend is true about when it happened. Can anybody help provide confirmation of which of the Van de Graaff brothers was the toughest son-of-a-gun to play?

He better get tested for

all sorts of diseases like AIDS, Rabbies, Mad Cow etc.

My UA daughter says he is hot enough without it, so I guess it is no big deal.

I hate the NCAA more than UT & AU combined. At least with UT & AU you got a fighting chance.

Oh man, I can totally relate.

The other day, I had to move this box that must have weighed at least 20 pounds. And when I carried into another room, I scraped my knuckle on the door frame. And it bled a little. And my wife said, “you might want to put a bandaid on that.” But I was like, “no, it’s okay.” And she said, “well, at least let me put some Neosporin on it.” And I said “okay, you can do that.” Then I sat down for awhile and she put the box on the shelf.

Yeah, I guess physical toughness and a high pain threshold just come naturally to guys like Reamer and me.
