Alabama Margin of Victory
Came across this over at Team Speed Kills (http://www.teamspeedkills.com/2009/10/15/1085096/why-some-are-getting-restless):
| Season | Points for | Points Allowed | Margin |
| 2004 | 417 | 147 | 270 |
| 2005 | 386 | 186 | 200 |
| 2006 | 322 | 181 | 141 |
| 2007 | 315 | 220 | 95 |
| 2008 | 208 | 216 | -8 |
It was this graph which lead, among other things, to Tuberville's demise.
So, I looked unto the Saban era for margin of victory
| Season | Points for | Points Allowed | Margin |
| 1 BS (aka 2006) | 298 | 250 | 48 |
| 1 AS (2007) | 352 | 286 | 66 |
| 2 AS | 422 | 200 | 222 |
| 3 AS (to date) | 222 | 75 | 147 |
| 3 AS (projected*) | 518 | 175 | 343 |
* calculated as points to date / 6 x 14 (and yes, I know that's ridiculous, but I don't care!)
Anyway, it seems clear at least that we should outdo last year's already outstanding 222 Margin of Victory, and might eclipse Auburn's perfect season inducing 270 Margin from 2004. We have a trend here, and projecting onward, we can easily calculate next year's Margin at being approximately 460, which would lead to a 20-0 season in a 14 game schedule.
Good times.

I would not
project our margin out for this year because our toughest games are ahead (well except Chatt.)
I would say that in general everyone knows that coming into 2009 Bama was getting better and Auburn was getting worse.
I hate the NCAA more than UT & AU combined. At least with UT & AU you got a fighting chance.

It must be true
I heard a rumor that the jackass that the barners use for their sex ed and driver ed classes was crossed with a barner graduate. The result must have been Go Hide in the V-berth.
