We were able to put together some solid drives
But penalties and stupid turnovers really hampered our offense all night long. McElroy is not cracking under pressure, he shattered to pieces last night. Let’s hope he breaks out of this funk by next week.
Fumbles. It was always Fumbles
These drive charts...
…are awesome, because they help you see the game better in retrospect. Generally, each week we’ve been outplaying our opponents on both sides of the ball, getting better drives in addition to our defensive stops, but (just like last night) we’ve been leaving points on the field every week, even when we were winning by 20 or 30+. The bad news is we haven’t fixed it (or our special teams coverage catastrophes) yet; the good news is that these problems are fixable. Here’s hoping we surprise UT with our most complete game to date.
