More than any other recently, at least, is difficult to evaluate. This deep into it, you should have a better idea as to who is good and who isn’t. I’d knock having Cincinnati at #2 given their resume, but who behind them has a better one?

Yeah...

…I don’t really like having them that high, but considering they lost their starting QB midway through the game Thursday night and not only didn’t struggle but actually did better in the second half while all the other top teams really struggled, you have to give them a little credit.

florida looked terrible

and was consistently bailed out by piss poor officiating.

i’d keep VT over miami though. that was a more convincing win IMO than GT’s over VT. that whole little triangle is hard to call though, thats for sure.

…about Iowa, though the whole needing to block two FGs to beat Northern Iowa still bugs me. May just bump them ahead of USC.

I was entertaining some of my friends who went to Iowa

when that game was played…it was uglier than the whole needing 2 blocked FGs; they just got flat outplayed the entire game. Since then, though, wins against Zona, Mich, and roadies at Wisc and PSU beat the hell out of the guys above them (except Cincy…I think…who knows how good they really are?)

But seriously, I wouldn’t have Cincy at #2, but other than that I generally agree.

You really need to change Cincy, though. Florida would beat them by 21+. That one pick alone just makes the rest look a tad silly.

But seriously, your two (so far) top tens seem to be a anything but Florida at #2 poll. To me, unless one of ’em actually loses a game, Bama and UF are 1 and 2 ’til Dec. 5. They did play sans Brandon Spikes yesterday, after all.

Ahhh

but the good ole’ harris and coaches have them at 21 (only down 6 after losing to a dreadful Colo. team). AND, this same formula that determines 2/3rds of the BCS has 3-3 OK at 25.

Might be too late, but the fact you put Idaho in there and leave Utah out is laughable...

Either drop Idaho out entirely or put Utah in. No way does Idaho deserve to be ranked before Utah.

Sure, who knows if the Utes deserve to be ranked or not…but their resume is stronger than Idaho’s.

I mean, the Vandals were blown off the field against Washington. Utah’s lone loss came, by seven, to the team you rank 9th. Oh and that was on the road.

Meh. Oh well.
