Submit Your Questions for "Hey Todd!"
It's the Third(ish) Saturday in October, so you know what we'll be talking about this week. We'll be joined by Joel and Will of Rocky Top Talk as well, so be sure to tune at 8pm CST over at TalkShoe.

We'll also probably spend a little time worshiping at the altar of Ingram, just so you know.

Hey Todd,
With it finally being revealed that Ingram is a cyborg, and with the revelation from Spurrier that we were cheating on our kicks, what do you think will happen with this?
1) Nothing. It was a blown call by the refs (5-yeard penalty for illegal kick according to the rule book)
2) The NCAA will have a field day with those cheating Bammers, and force us to vacate all our offensive points for the SC game (then realize that we STILL won).

If Ingram were really a cyborg...
…he would have switched to defense against Kentucky to take out John Connor.

Perhaps
you could ask the guys who run RTT why their ’regular" posters are so rude to visiting fans?…If you say “Hi” over there you get called a troll…

Heisman question
My question is do we really want Ingram to win a Heisman. There was a poll up yesterday, I think, but I believe it would be an interesting discussion. Would we prefer to be the team with great tradition of TEAM play and therefore no Heisman? Or, is that just silly, and of course we would want one of our players to win a Heisman if for nothing more than recruiting?

It’s silly. Can we not be a “team” that also happens to have superstars? We’ve shown that we’re still top-notch, even when Ingram doesn’t have a good day. As long as we have a team that can dominate without superstars, why does it matter if we have them?
Ingram for Heisman; Alabama creates success, in both the individual and the community.

It's Better This Way
I’m so very proud of the fact that we’ve won so many championships, and haven’t had a Heisman. I much prefer it that way.
I’m reminded here of the story of how Bill Wilson, a co-founder of Alcoholics Anonymous, whom Time wanted to put on the cover of their magazine. In keeping with the principle of anonymity, Bill said “No”.
When somebody mentioned to his wife how that showed how humble Bill was, his wife said “Do you really think so? How many people can say that they have been on the cover of Time? Now – how many people can say that Time asked, and that they turned them down?”
The Heisman stopped meaning much, anyway, some years back when it became an award usually given to one of the top-ranked teams’ quarterbacks. I’d like to see it depreciated even more – let Mark turn ’em down ; )

Hey Todd,
Why do so many Vol fans have mental illnesses? Is it really ok to pick on them for their infirmities?

In the long run
Having a Heisman winner will do wonders for recruiting running backs,as well as recruiting in general.
