outside of wins over a .500 Clemson and an (imo) overrated BYU team, TCU is in the rankings at all. Running the table in the Mountain West is not exactly grounds for national recognition. But I suppose undefeated does have its merit.

I mean, nobody wants to rank Troy for taking care of business in the Sun Belt.

That said, your rankings seem pretty dead on to me.

…and I think they’re overrated too, but I’m not really sure how you drop them three spots for winning 54-9 on the road.

…where you like, but to me, Texas stays at third ’til somebody loses. The Big 12 sucks. Name a real quality win on their schedule. They had to squeak by a 3-loss OU team playing without their Heisman-winning QB. People are so fickle. Texas looked awful last week, but what a game they had against a talent-depleted Mizzou squad (sorry, Mizzou fans)!

The SEC is the home of champions. UF is the defending champ who returned everyone not named Percy, and is still winning without a healthy Brandon Spikes. Alabama, despite our recent offensive struggles, is playing the best football in the country in the best conference in America.

Texas may win it all, but they’ll need us to beat ourselves up to do it.
