You know
I don’t think there’s probably anything to this…When he got to UM it was one huge whine party and piss-n-moan fest b/c he was trying to change the culture of UM and the Big 10(11). This is probably sour grape reporting from a player that had to do “voluntary” workouts, or another coach who got scooped on a recruit that had already given a verbal commit, or one of the slackers that got asked to leave a medical redshirt, etc.
Say many things about Rod (including the class of the player he recruits) but I don’t think he’s likely done anything yet.

The original complaint included confirmation from current players. RichRod has always played a little fast and loose, it looks like he probably just started making the mandatory nature of the optional work-outs a little too explicit, and if the reports from the original news report hold up, I wouldn’t be surprised to see them get a slap on the wrist and maybe lose a few scholarships.
I'm wrong all the time.

Agree on "fast and loose"
But do you think UM’s football team is going to lose schollies over it? What’s the minimal punishment? A censure or probationary period?
