Did Mark Ingram have the ball?
I know it doesn't matter now but it appeared Mark had the ball when he rolled out of the pile. It may be my bias but it looked like it was ripped out after he was out of the pile. Just wondering if anyone saw that or if the refs were right and tennessee had it.
I'm just glad we beat those lo down, dirty, snitches because I HATE tennessee I don't think I can stress that enough.

it was a fumble.

Mark Ingram admitted he could have prevented it, but running out the clock with 3 minutes or so...
my mind wasn’t totally focused.
His concern came when standing on the sideline and could do nothing to help the outcome.
Got that winning feelin'
Yea
When i was watching in slow motion, it looked like there was no way he was about to fumble the ball until all the sudden at the last second it just somehow popped out. And im pretty sure i never saw him recover. Although he is Mark Ingram so who am i to judge?

I know it was a fumble but it looked like mark came up with the ball out of the pile and it was ripped out after he came out of the pile.
Coming out of the pile with the ball does not give you possession. If I recall, it was pretty obvious that the UT defender had the ball before there was a pile to speak of and that Ingram took it from him when they were on the ground after he was already down.
I'm wrong all the time.
Yep...UT ball.
There’s no good time to turn the ball over, but that was as bad as it could have been given their defensive momentum/our offensive phallus-tripping.

I have seen Ingram's future....
I know the fumble hit him pretty hard.
I now predict that Ingram is going give a tearful speech about the tragedy of it all and about how hard he will work, THEN our team/coaches/AD will rally over his mighty leadership THEN we will emblazon said speech on a plaque outside of BDS, THEN the national media will fawn over him and his crocodile tears leadership, THEN said soliloquy will subsequently become THE defining moment of our season THEN Ingram will be named THE defining player of a generation as we plow our way to a NC….
That’s already been done? Damn.

Now, imagine what would happen
had he turned the ball over several times, leading to a loss against an unranked team?
The above scenario is just not plausible. I mean, what kind of competitor rallies around the guy who’s crying because he knows he just lost the game? Much less makes a plaque about it?

Imagine what would happen
If two of Mark Ingram’s fumbles were returned for touchdowns, both of them caused because Mark Ingram, in desperation of proving to everyone — everyone! — that he really is the greatest ever, while only really masking the fact that he’s not really that incredible once all the players who help him make plays are gone. But imagine him winning the Heisman regardless!
Wait, that has been done before too?! Demmitall.

They'll probably
give it to Colt this year. Ingram’s got another year (does anyone seriously think he’s staying for 4?)

I don't see Colt having the numbers, personally
But with such a soft later half of the schedule .. who knows.
