Lane Kiffin is straight gangsta'
From RTT, citing Kiffy's Twitter feed:
looking forward to another great practice today and a huge game saturday...also a huge shout-out to Lil Wayne for boosting our street cred!
Can you think of anything piss-your-pants funnier than Lane Kiffin talking about street cred?
Some quick facts from a brotha': First, Lane's upbringin' was hard, so so hard that he grewing up in the suburbs surrounded by the blue-eyed devils of other privileged, white elite kids (with a dad coaching college and pros since Methuselah). But, man, those streets got him down...Gary? Newark? East St. Louis? Atlanta? Sh**. They ain't nothin' like Bloomington, MN. You know he's gotta' eat, and what better way to put shoes on the baby's feet than earning his degree in "Leisure Services Management" at Fresno State.
Street creds, yo, street creds. And a "shout-out" to you, Lane.

That's B-town to you!
Bloomington, MN can be a very though place in the wintertime – especially if you don’t have a heavy coat…..
This video doesn’t really have a lot of relevance to you post, but it is damn funny and needs to be watched in its entirety if you haven’t seen it already:

I've had the misfortune to spend a January in the Cities...
I’d rather set myself on fire than do it again, thanks.

What did Weezy do? Wear some UT garb?
Or did Lane sell him some rock?
In Minnesota (and all the other places) Lane was probably like the Topher Grace character from Traffic.
MATRIX: Bennett, I thought you were--
BENNETT: Dead? You thought wrong. Ever since you had me thrown out of the unit, I've been waiting to pay you back. Do you know what today is, Matrix? Payday.

So what you're saying is...
even if Kiffy were to reel off 11 straight wins starting Saturday….he would STILL be a LOSER overall??

If Kiffin is such a bad boy with street cred
how come he’s backing down to Slive at the first sight of trouble? I pretty much called out Kiffin for being a poser on the UT site. Good read IMO. All they can say is “Troll Troll Troll”

something Kiffin doesn't understand
in hip hop culture talking shit is not necessarily respected, you gotta back it up to get “street cred.” last time i checked, they were 3-4…..
