After last week, you should know how this works. A few quick thoughts from myself:
- 'Bama opened between a 4.5 - 7 point favorite over Ole Miss, depending on the line.
- No major injuries to OM, that I know of.
- Ole Miss spanked Vandy yesterday, and don't let that 23-7 final fool you. Ole Miss had a 23-0 lead over Vandy in the first half before Vandy ever even completed a pass. They could have put 40+ on them.
- The Ole Miss OL was fat and out of shape against South Carolina. We need to rotate like hell and wear these guys down.
- This is easily the best defensive line we've faced, and much better against the run than Arkansas. Powe is turning into a real force inside.
- With Hardy, Tillman, and Lockett, Ole Miss has the best defensive end rotation in the SEC
- Their DB's ought to be weak. Maybe not as bad as Arkansas, but not as good as Kentucky. Same for linebackers.
- Dexter McCluster is every bit as good as Randall Cobb, and perhaps better
- Nutt is known for crazy shit... expect the tricks. They scored on a faked FG last year, and we'll see more trickeration this year.
- Snead will get sucked off Saturday, but he's struggled greatly under pressure this year. Ole Miss is struggling up front, we have to rush the passer here.
- Ole Miss has much better backs than Kentucky.
- If this game is anything like the last four 'Bama v. Ole Miss games, I might have a heart attack
