What I Need to Happen This Weekend
Because of work, I haven't been to a single home game this season, which needless to say...really sucks. Right now, according to my favorite college football TV resource, it looks like our game against South Carolina next weekend could be at 2:30 on CBS or at 6:45 on ESPN. Earlier in the week, they had the Arkansas at Florida game as the predicted 2:30 game, but now, they have both games listed as tentative at both time slots. I work next weekend and won't be able to go to the 2:30 game, but can make the 6:45 game (well, I'd miss a bit of the first quarter, but I'd still go.) So, here's the scenario I need so we're playing at night and not during the day:
Alabama to win at Ole Miss
Florida to win at LSU
Arkansas to win at home over Auburn and
Kentucky to win at South Carolina
I figure if those four things happen, then the Arkansas at Florida game is a near lock for CBS and we get the advantage of being a game up on LSU and the Barn in the West. It's the best case scenario for the team, and the best case scenario for me personally. The above listed scenario also means three teams winning on the road, which is never easy. Hopefully it all work out this way and I can make my first home game of the year.

If South Carolina loses...
…our game is less likely to end up on CBS because they’ll be a lower caliber opponent.
I think I'd rather get a night game on ESPN2
than a CBS 2:30 game.

Two outta three so far....
….and Kentucky nearly pulled it off.
If Florida wins, I think that game’s definitely on CBS seeing how Arkansas whipped that Auburn ass.
And if Meatloaf said two out of three ain't bad...
