Just thinking out-loud (can you truly do that on a blog though?)

1. I think the Pac-10 is a much better conference than the Big 12 from top to bottom right now.

2.Houston Nutt is a roller-coaster of a coach. His highs make you smile, but his lows are fast and cause stomach discomfort.

3. Jeremiah Masoli will probably start to get some Heisman hype after a great performance tonight against USC.

4. Pete Carroll is a bit of a sore loser. Chip Kelly wanted to pat him on the back, but PC just tried to dink in a quick handshake and run off with a sour look on his face.

5. While Texas certainly has looked better than us these last two weeks, some in the media are forgetting that OK State is without two of their best offensive weapons. I don't think the Longhorns have faced as stiff a challenge as we have to date.

6. Hope Zac Etheridge is ok. I hate seeing players carted off the field on a stretcher.

The performance

of some of our previous opponents will hurt us. especially in the computer polls. Ole piss, SC, and VT all losing and most likely dropping out of the top 25 wont help us.

If we take care of business, we will play in Atlanta and Pasadena and none of that matters. If we don’t take care of business, we may or may not play in Atlanta, and we won’t play in Pasadena and none of that matters.
