Alabama tight end Colin Peek and tailback Terry Grant practiced again today, having been cleared for contact and being taken off what appears to be a dwindling list of injury concerns as the third-ranked Crimson Tide continues preparations for Saturday's 6 p.m. game at Mississippi State.

Hope Peek is

really better. He played Sat, but looked slowed to me.

I think he is a pretty important part of this years offense since when he is in the game the other team does know if we are going to run or pass. I’m afraid his back ups tip our hand.

I hate the NCAA more than UT & AU combined. At least with UT & AU you got a fighting chance.

what about Upchurch?

I thought he was 100%. I dont think he played Sat. Why?

BSR said that upchurch

has been limited for a little bit, but from all reports, there are hardly any injuries now.

Upchurch...

is on just about every special teams unit and played those roles Sat. But I can’t help but wonder why he doesn’t get more opportunities on with the offense though. I know MI & TR are great backs, but RU is a good one in his own right. We hear Saban say we need to get our playmakers involved and then we have a really good one on the sidelines. Any thoughts as to why?

I have a good idea

Roy fumbles a whole lot more than MI and TR. It’s his Achilles heel.

Hmmm...

…since Ingram’s only lost one fumble in his career, and Trent has played sparingly, I guess that’s technically true, but it’s not like Upchurch has been coughing it up on a regular basis. He’s got one this year (as do the other backs), but I don’t remember any from last season.

Beat me to it...

The one against VT is his only one and he had none last season. And he’s avg. about 8ypc if I’m not mistaken
