Veteran's Day

We here at Roll Bama Roll would like to extend our most heartfelt thanks to the men and women of the United States armed forces on this Veterans Day. That we are able to enjoy our fall pastime each and every year is due to the sacrifice and dedication of those who have served our country in the past and those who are doing so today on active duty around the globe.

May God Bless our Veterans...

…and our Active Duty military. At my house, we pray for the soldiers every night.

Thank you all for standing in between the bad guys and the rest of us.
I sure do appreciate it.

Happy Veterans' Day!

Also, that flyover was awesome. So, so awesome. They almost knocked over the north endzone add-on.

Weird

it looks like they fly right through the structure.

It practically did.

I was there, and I swear it went right under the crane.

I almost had a heart attack.

They didn’t announce that it was coming and it scared the crap out of me.

Same here.

I was late to the game and had just taken my seat right as the national anthem was ending and BOOM! I thought a bomb went off and was sure we were all dead.

as an active duty Army soldier, I'd like to say thank YOU...

for your support and love…whenever I’m deployed…RBR, Alabama football and the football fans in general are so helpful and supportive of everything…

enjoy...

Another active Army guy here, currently deployed...

Thanks to all, this website keeps me up on the Bama games when AFN is lacking, and there’s no better place to come for articles, previews, news, you name it. I also have to voice my appreciation for the other military guys on here, thanks for all your hard work and dedication.

As a Navy veteran, I want to say thanks........

To all the men and women who still serve and just let you all know how proud this vet is of you all.
It was my honor to serve this great nation that God has blessed us with, and may we never forget those who didn’t come home. I miss my friends and family I lost, but will never forget them.

I don't mind bad news, and I don't mind good news, but I can't stand surprises! Coach Nick Saban

Also would like to thank you guys

for supporting us so much. Myself and my wife are both Active Duty soldiers (my wife is from T-town) and both enjoy watching Bama football (God knows my Noles suck this year). I am currently deployed, so when I can’t watch the Bama games, I follow on here and on the phone with my wife.

GO NOLES!!! ROLL TIDE!!!

A soldier here, too

This is the second year in a row I have been deployed during football season. All the thoughts and prayers for us are needed and appreciated.

I catch the games when I can but I know I can always count on RBR to keep me up-to-date.

Also, I was a student in our section in 2005 for that flyover. I had just heard Condoleeza Rice and Jack Straw address a crowd at the University the day before and was so proud to have them there as we beat UT. The jet definitely scared the crap out of everyone.

To the 5 editors

You all deseve so may wonderful kudos for such a great, educational, enjoyable, informative, humorous, cut-to-the-chase site, but it is aslo very level-headed for a fan oriented site. Yall are great.

Have you noticed how, although it’s their day, they are all thanking you? Love the current AF members, the veterans and RBR!!! Thanks to all of you.

I took my kids...

…to the Veterans’ Day parade in B’ham again this year (the oldest in the country), partly because my kids love it, but also because you can see how much the veterans love seeing little kids waving at and clapping for them. I can’t imagine what it’s like to walk in their shoes, or of those of you who are currently serving. Thank you for all you do, and take care of yourselves.
