Prediction Time

Ok, we are at it again.  I, for one, am more nervous for this game then last week.  Hopefully we don't have a let down after the big game.  That being said, feel free to add your predictions here.  Feel free to go out on a limb.  I don't think anyone predicted Julio's 73 yard catch last week...so step it up people.

1.  We win in a close one by 6.

2.  Cody scores a rushing TD (I think he would have last week but for Julio's penalty at the goal line)

FanPosts are just that; posts created by the fans. They are in no way indicative of the opinions of SBN and the authors of Roll Bama Roll.

I was almost exactly correct last week. I was off by five points.

Running game has a huge day,

and GMac’s resurgence continues, and this one is never really in doubt.

Another physical onslaught

The defense smelled blood the last game, hence the damage done to the who’s team.I believe that will carryover to this game.Bama in a romp 31-9.

Bama struggles

against a decent MSU and wins 20-7.

I’d like to think GMac will do better against a not so strong secondary.

I hate the NCAA more than UT & AU combined. At least with UT & AU you got a fighting chance.

Will the Real Offense Please Stand Up

Depends on which offense shows up—In the proverbial perfect world, we should win by 17. If we play offense like last week, we should cover that with little problem….If we don’t, eh, win by 10.

The offense steps up big time

500+ Yards RoboIngram gets 200+ Gmac hits his stride another 250+ performance.

How do you win all of these?

Your kung fu is strong.

I was close last week...

I had it at 28-10. And I, too, think Cody gets a rushing touchdown.

I’m going to go with Bama 21-State 3…Smashmouth indeed.

We are not giving the ball to Cody

in a close game- write it down.

Now with UT Chatt.- maybe. Big maybe.

We better not...

…give it to him before Pasadena…he’s much more valuable as a blocker than a ball-carrier, and he’s much more prone to get hurt as a ball-carrier than a blocker….

But...

on third and goal? Why not? Who the heck is going to stop him? I’m not suggesting we ask him to run it down the sidelines or anything, but we’ve seen him clear the way into the endzone for people behind him in this scenario, why not let him have the rock?

he used to carry the ball in goal line situtions at mississippi gulf coast CC

and had several touchdowns IRRC. i dont think it’s soemthine we’ll do often by any means, but i wouldn’t be surprised to see him take a handoff eventually. i mean most of the time when he’s in as a FB he doesn’t even get to block people because they just get out of his way.

I picked...

Julio having a 46 yard TD last week (thrown by Ingram) but he got a 73 yarder. I think him or Maze will have a long TD catch or maybe a jump ball to Julio. I also think our 3 backs will have a big game. Ingram gets 2 TD’s and Richardson gets 1.

Dixon gets one maybe 2. They get a field goal too.

Bama wins :34-17

32 – 13

another week of the tide’s defense dominating another opponent

by MDBSax on Nov 12, 2009 10:33 AM CST reply actions   0 recs

tide rolls

34 to 10. we get more than 450 total yards, they get less than 275, we hold their RB to under 100, ingram goes 160 plus gets some receiving yards. tiffin goes 2 for 2 for FG’s and 4 of 4 for PAT’s, extending his lead over the rest of the country as the Groza Award front runner.

welcome to the SEC kiffykins...

From the opening cowbell........

We dominate, and the bullies try, ( I reiterate TRY) to run the ball and shorten the game, but to no avail as Ingram runs wild and GMac passes like never before. I see a punt returned for a TD by Javy and a pick 6 by our defense because the bullies have to throw to try to get into the game. Big game for Bama on ESPN at night and no let down.

I would pick MSU if it were not for:

-our stellar rushing attack
-our ridiculous amount of talent in the passing game
-a bone crushing ball snatching defense
-and a superfluous amount of unscrupulous refs we have in our pocket

BTW this is the only time that I have referred to bone crushing and ball snatching in a positive manner…

I thinks its going to be a typical day for us where we dominate physcially but don't necessarily slaughter them on the scoreboard

Bama – 23
MSU – 6
