was bigger than any of their basketball crowds since they joined the MWC.

I don't mean to alarm anyone
but Duke is up 7-0 and has the ball at the GT 13
Make that 10-0

i think we lose, but cover.
it’s a hell of a time for a true freshman to get his first road start. and our run defense has been vulnerable against good running teams.

i sincerely hope Saban pulls a Meyer and calls timeouts to prolong the misery for that sorry bastard
I almost pissed my pants when he and Stallings were on finebaum and Curry made a statement that Bama fans have unrealistc expectations and you could never make them happy. Stallings responded with, “well, Bill, I never had that problem with them, and I’ve never heard of a winner leaving an institution like Alabama for a place like Kentucky.” Finebaum responded with, “and on that note, let’s take a break so Coach Curry can relocate his manhood” BOOM! Roasted!

My bad.
I read about getting Field Turf, but didn’t notice it was at the practice facility. Haven’t really been paying attention to the field at BDS. Thanks for the correction.
That's probably my fault...
… I speculated in the off-season that it looked, based on some photos posted, that we had installed FieldTurf. Unfortunately, that is obviously not the case.
Hopefully we do something eventually. The actual playing surface at BDS has always been one of the worst in the conference.

You know, I've wondered that myself...
… and I would honestly like to see that in a lot of ways. We have Field Turf in the Crisp Facility and have never had any issues, so why not?
Something needs to change in Bryant-Denny, for sure. That field looked like terrible last week.

Agreed.
The last two home games the field, especially mid-field and in the end zones, looks horrible. I guess I would prefer grass over FieldTurf if we could find a way to make it hold up a little better than it does inside Bryant-Denny, but astecially FieldTurf gets the nod.

Did anyone notice
that when Ole Miss blocked Lincoln’s field goal attempt a few minutes ago, Stocker picked up the blocked kick after it crossed the line and ran it to the end zone. That’s exactly what Kiffin complained about when Cody blocked Lincoln’s kick. He said, “Luke was right there ready to pick it up and run.” Watching Stocker run with it makes me Kiffin instructed his players to do this on a blocked kick. Shame of it is, the thing is dead (in terms of a Tennessee recovery) when it goes onto the Ole Miss side of the neutral zone.
Damn, the SEC is crazy.

The way SEC teams beat one another is crazy
Other than Alabama, Florida, and LSU, there really isn’t a consistent trend of winning. Arkansas beats Auburn, who beat Tennessee. Arkansas takes Florida to the wire and Tennessee does the same to us. We beat Ole Miss soundly and so does Auburn, but Ole MIss blasts Arkansas and is blasting Tennessee, who blasted Georgia and South Carolina.
I swear, using the Team A beat Team B so Team C who beat Team A logic to figure out SEC games is useless.

Eli is telling the story of the crop duster/parachutist fiasco at MSU. My favorite two quotes from Eli:
“He went by me at 90 mph and was about to be impaled on the stands.”
and
“He broke both legs and his pelvis, but the ambulance was kept off the field since it was wet.”
He also said that the reason USC loses so many games they should...
…is because they’re so much better than their competition and so it’s hard for them to get up for those games.
I'm watching the USC-Stanford game...
What the hell is wrong with the color commentator’s voice? He sounds like a Mel Blanc character.
