I’m going to have to turn off the Phineas and Ferb my 3 year old daughter is watching for the Bama game.

Ohio State going to the Rose Bowl...
… with a 27-24 win over Iowa.
Seriously, Ohio State v. Oregon / Stanford in the Rose Bowl? Shittiest Rose Bowl ever, and that says a lot.

what the hell happened to Miami
over the last nine years? Shannon seems to be a passable coach. Why can’t he retain 35% of the talent in Miami/Dade and not play so crappy on national tv?
Well...
Shannon is probably a passable-at-best coach, and he’s pretty much generating passable-at-best results. Sounds right to me.

Is Troy even putting up a fight against Arky?
I see the score, but is it really gonna be that nasty? Or is it inches from a good game?

ROLL TIDE
Lee Corso: How would you describe tailgating at Alabama?
Kirk Herbstreit: Barbecue and Ralph Lauren
Aw man...
…Cal upset Arizona. My BlogPoll ballot is going to be ridiculous this week. TEMPLE’S IN THE TOP TEN MFERS
Roll Bama Roll - The Champagne of Bama Blogs.
You know
if Mark Ingram doesn’t get 140 yards in a game something is wrong with him. The ability of our staff to develop talent is crazy good. I thought Mark would be good this year but damn never thought he would be this good. Coach needs to recruit Michigan more if this is the type of players residing there. lol Roll Tide!
This upcoming season I'm gonna refer to Julio Jones as "The Magic Man" and Trent Richardson as "El Diablo"

I've always loved that line; along with:
“Freedom is to say that 2+2=4. If that is granted, all else follows.”
it's a turgid, badly written mess
and it’s “philosophy” is gawdawful.
but orwell, on the other hand, is simply magnificent.
Roll 'Bama Roll: The Champagne of 'Bama Blogs.
I would not say it's "gawdawful"
It’s certainly nowhere near the masterpiece that Orwell created, but it is a great work on what capitalism truly is good for
it's actually a better criticism of socialism than defense of anything in particular...
but it’s bad writing no matter which way you slice it.
Roll 'Bama Roll: The Champagne of 'Bama Blogs.
Yea good review..
I like The Economist..they have stayed somewhat capitalist in these exceedingly socialist leaning days we are in…but if I may say so, that artical reminded me of Ayn Rand’s “The Fountainhead,” which was, in my opinion, her best literary work. A decent work that I think most people should read…As a 21 year old I have been though my share of literature/English classes, and it is a damn shame how many great pieces of literature are not on the curriculums. I mean in my 16+ years of schooling so far it was never required for me to read “1984.” I read it on my own and find it ridiculous not all students are not required to read it in high school, hell I wasn’t required to read it in any of the 5 literature classes I’ve taken in college.

Sould have been a completion deep for Auburn...
… but some UGA guy jacked the fuck out of Fannin. Unfortunately the UGA guy is hurt with a shoulder injury, it looks like. Ouch.

A hell of a game
way to silence the detractors Gmac!!! Ingram for Heisman. M. Johnson is officially THE man.
What you're seeing is team spirit. It's like the Holy Spirit, but more powerful.

well, i'm getting a little sick of him "silencing the critics"
every damn game. i’d be much happier if our vertical game was simply something we could take for granted again.

i'm a little sick of people complaining about wins.

this team has an unbelievable amount of potential
it is frustrating that they have been unable to realize it. pointing this out is in no way taking away from what they have achieved.

….I get a lecture every week from The Girl about “you are 31 years old, you shouldn’t act so ridiculous during a football game.”

I get the same
from my husband. But he’s from Kansas so he doesn’t get Alabama football. Yet. He’s almost there, though, after 14 years.

Conceding the blowout (I know, I know)
vs Chat, at what point does CNS pull Ingram – 150 yds? 1td?
Does he care about the trophy? He might not, but you know recruits do…
Honestly...
… I’m not sure that Saban gives two shits about recruits who give two shits about the Heisman.

some folks think by winning they may actually have lost.

Not that I have any problems with the results...
but, you have to wonder when teams will figure out that breaking out the black jerseys against us may not be advantageous.

boy that was a long time coming.
The lambasting takes the attention off of Arenas’ unfair catch…
