Mark Ingram may have rumbled untouched for a touchdown here, but he had a tough night and he earned the rest of his yards the hard way. Regardless, 19 for 149 and a couple of TD's is a fine night. There isn't a better tailback in the country, and second isn't even close...

I'm glad

Ingram got the big run at the end just from stats side of things. But last night was a hard go for him and Richardson. MSU may not be as good a D was we faced in UT & LSU but they jamed the box and all of Ingrams yards were hard fought. His short TD run was symbolic of the way things really were. Fighting literally for every foot. This is what we are going to have to do against UF.

I hate the NCAA more than UT & AU combined. At least with UT & AU you got a fighting chance.

both of them had some AMAZING runs last night.

I especially remember one where TR gets hit by multiple defenders yards from the first down, and still manages to fight for his way to get the first. That guy is like a freaking Weeble.

What you're seeing is team spirit. It's like the Holy Spirit, but more powerful.

That play...

….was nothing but pure power and effort on his part. Want to feel warm in horrible places? Think about the quantum leap Ingram made as a running back from his freshman to sophomore years. Now apply that to Richardson, and then realize BOTH will be in the backfield next year.

Speaking of his busted forehead

But yeah, if Tebow had busted his head on a TD, we’d have at least 5 national articles talking about how hard-nosed and tough TT is on the field.

Now Ingram did get some coverage from Erin Andrews, but you won’t hear anything else about it after that…. as it should be.

last time i checked

a cut on the head doesn’t affect running ability too much.

I'd like a little coverage...

…from Erin Andrews! I AM THE FIRST PERSON TO EVER THINK OF SOMETHING SO CLEVER!

Coach Saban

and the S & C Coach have physically conditioned Ingram’s brain to be concussion resistent.
