There was some confusion when the SEC released its lineup for this Saturday, since two games are set to be broadcast at the same time by the league's new SEC Network.

That means some folks are bound to be unhappy, as Alabama's game against UT-Chattanooga and Arkansas-Mississippi State will both begin at 11:21 a.m., meaning the SEC Network will air both on a split basis.

Who will be able to watch the Alabama game Saturday on the SEC Network? | The Bama Beat

The good news is if you live in Alabama (and most parts of Eastern Tennessee, though why you would live there is beyond me), you'll get the Alabama game no problem. But if you're outside that area, you better head over and check out the station list to see if you need to start making alternate plans.

Up here in NJ

I am not optimistic that I will be able to watch the game. I am optimistic, however, that I will not need to :)

I happen to live in East Tennessee.

And aside from the toothless, Red Man chomping, Natty drinking, puke orange wearing hill creatures…

It’s actually not a bad place to live.

Don't tell me

You’ne never had a nice “naturdat?”

"Well Eli, Smokey just came out of the tunnel, and he's about 100 yards away from me now, and if I had my deer rifle I believe I could drop him, back to you Eli" -- Jerry Duncan's comments to Eli Gold just prior to kickoff against Tennessee

I'm actually moving that day

So I doubt I can watch it. My lease runs out in November, and I figured UTC was the best weekend to do such a thing.

Dish network in the Destin area is showing it.

Did you hear? Tennessee are getting new uniforms again. All orange with accessories for the hands and legs!

Well..

I’ll be at the game live and in person so it won’t effect me (thank God).

Does anyone

know if we are on ESPN 360?

It is on the list . . .

of televised games on ESPN360. However, sometimes the games are subject to regional blackout. So depending on your location you may not be able to watch it online.

For those of you in

the Florida panhandle (east of PC) the Bama game will be on CBS!

As long as it's on ESPN Gameplan, I'll be fine

If it isn’t, I’ll have to improvise.

MATRIX: Bennett, I thought you were--

BENNETT: Dead? You thought wrong. Ever since you had me thrown out of the unit, I've been waiting to pay you back. Do you know what today is, Matrix? Payday.

First of all splits are stupid.

Just pick what you think is your best game and show it.

Second- if the SEC polled potential viewers across the South they would find the only place Arky vs. MSU out polls Bama against any other college team even UT Chatt. would be in Arky & Miss- and it would be close in Miss.

Third if they documented the viewing habits of Arky and MSU fans they would find out that whomever is losing will tune out at half. But with Bama, since about 99% watching this game will be Bama fans there will be no tuning out until Rammer Jammer is sung. Hey we are the people who packed out our Spring Game.

Now, I’m not saying Bama v. UTChatt would out draw say UGA v. UK. But come on, Arky v. MSU!!

By the way, MSU is claiming WALB in Albany GA is showing Arky v. MSU but on the cable website in S.Ga. they say they are showing Bama. Truth is in some places you won’t know until kickoff – and if you call your local station you might even get them to switch.

However, ESPN 360 is showing it so no problem. And if you don’t get ESPN 360 (IT IS FREE) you need to get a new internet provider.

I hate the NCAA more than UT & AU combined. At least with UT & AU you got a fighting chance.

Isn't it great

that we’re all so concerned over split coverage, etc., when just 4 years ago this would have been automatic PPV?
