San Jose State's HC Tomey to retire at season's end

The Spartans will come into T-Town to begin our 2010 CFB season under new management. I think this job would be a great opportunity for Fran, Tubs, T. Bowden, or Fulmer [fingers crossed for this type situation].

By the way we have the return of Bill Curry in 2010. That will be interesting.

I hate the NCAA more than UT & AU combined. At least with UT & AU you got a fighting chance.

He coached at New Mexico and TCU, so he’s familiar with those smaller school atmospheres.

is from Arkansas and has only been a coach in the southeast. I’d imagine he has no ties to the west coast so I don’t really know if that would be a great fit. Ditto the Bowden clan. But crazier stuff has happened.
