Michigan failed to keep mandatory logs
"The University of Michigan released embarrassing details of an internal audit Monday that discovered Rich Rodriguez's team failed to file forms tracking how much time players spent on football during the 2008 season -- his first -- and the offseason last spring."

Some say Michigan
practiced more than allowed, but when I watch them I think they probably didn’t practice much at all.
That is why RR did not submit the logs. He knew the alums would be mad when they saw they were practicing just 30 minutes a day.
Oh well, should have never hired the guy. Maybe they will get a big probation and have to give up the games RR has won…what would that cost them – 7 whole wins.
I hate the NCAA more than UT & AU combined. At least with UT & AU you got a fighting chance.
Thanks Rita

Thanks Paul

I almost want to send him a fruit basket or something… serious man love for keeping the RRod away.
Error
That is acutally a pretty big error. The logs that it speaks of are only forms that the players sign stating they did not practice over the maximum amount of hours. In a beaurocracy like the NCAA it is all about making sure forms are filled, the "i"s are dotted, and the "t"s are crossed. I doubt it will be any harsh punishment, but that something that should definitely get a compliance officer fired.
Its
not as if RR hasn’t been a head coach before. Shouldn’t he know by now how to keep his nose clean with stuff like this?

Michigan is in the toilet. I'll bet ya RR gets fired and Jim Harborough (sp?) gets the job.
Your temper brings dishonor to my happy mooshu palace.
