Missstate

Remember that Alabama fan with the missing finger during the LSU game? It seems this helpful Mississippi State fan was offering him the use of one of his prior to the contest in Starkville on Saturday.

I also see...

…several “banned” cowbells in that photo.

We were laughing at how the tickets to DWS actually say “no cowbells” on the back.

The answer to the cowbells

is for every visiting team’s fans to get two cow bells and ring them as loud as they can when MSU is calling signals. When it effects their own team they will truly ban them.

Either that or when they finally get a classy coach and he gets them banned.

I hate the NCAA more than UT & AU combined. At least with UT & AU you got a fighting chance.

I totally agree with you on this one

I wish I would have brought one to ring when MSU had the ball.

I wouldn't piss off the boys from Alabama . . . DBT

This is what I heard-

Lots and lots of cowbells in the first quarter, zero cowbells in the 4th.

I was under the assumption

that it’s difficult to ring a cowbell when it’s stuck between your cheeks.

Stolen

A couple of the fans in front of me had theirs stolen. As I recall only MSU fans leaving at the time(4th quarter). I guess their own fans hate them too.

I don't mind them...

It’s a tradition there and it makes the environment unique… and heck, it’s not like it ever effects the opposing teams anyway. :-D

UT's new recruiting slogan: You can go to USCe and WORK at a gas station or come to UT and ROB that gas station.

Listen to this

During the first qtr a event staff person came through the Bama section (which was in a thin strip in the south endzone opposite our band) and asked us all to not stand on the bleachers. I replied I was at a football game and I asked her to check into the cowbells in the other sections and she just laughed. It was worth the trip to see the expressions on the MSU fans faces when they all filed out in the third and early fourth qtrs. They just looked at us with envy as Bama cheers filled that little stadium.

JESUS CHRIST!!

If i heard one more time while watching the game that it was an attendance record for MSU, i might have killed someone…

The fact that its a record of what..58k..and thats something to be proud of…MSU..you are now among the most annoying teams in college football…

No need to let me know how it turns out,

every Christian on the planet already knows how it will turn out.

there will be no debate..

Eddie just doesn’t know my back ground…For the past 5 years I have been a college/ HS pastor. There is also about 5-6 other pastors in my family. So you can say its kinda in my blood. But you can also say that a lot of shit has happened to me over the past year to make me question my allegiance to the church…not God mind you..just organized religion.

So forgive me if i offended you…but i’ve stopped worrying about offending Christians…since they seem to be the most “sensitive” of all the religious groups..
