Tide-Mocs prediction thread

Fear the mocs!

I see it happening this way:  UT Chatt opens up with a sustained drive of about 5 yards or so before having to punt.  Outraged, CNS chews out the defense as the offense rolls down the field to score a TD.  Chastised, the D goes out and proceeds to chew up the Mocs offensive line and allows a net -57 yards for the rest of the half.

Halftime score

Bama 31

Mocs 0

In the second half, the second team takes the field, and while still outscoring UT-Chatt, they allow one big passing play.

Final

Bama 58

Mocs 10

On ESPN's...

…College Gameday yesterday, they held a brief interview with the Moc’s HC and asked him what was the main thing Alabama needed to prepare for when facing his team. After a brief hesitation he answered, “Auburn?”

Hahaahaaaa!

I saw that too! I saw it on College Football Live. I kept rewinding it just to see the look on his face! That was hilarious!!

I like it....

…..I would love to put them away early and get the starters out. The only thing that is scary about a game like this is some freak injury to one of the key players. Roll Tide!!!!

Eleventy Billion to 3

We give up a kickoff return to the 10, and they get sacked three times in a row, and their kicker hits a 65 yarder as their only points.

I want to see.....

Ingram get 150 yards and then sit, so that he can break the all time Bama rushing record against the barners. Upchurch and Grant get plenty of carries and a standing ovation for their hard play and dedication. Colin Peek to get a couple of catches from GMac then more from Star as we rest the starters, recognize the seniors, stay healthy and get ready to pound the barners next week. That is all.

I don't mind bad news, and I don't mind good news, but I can't stand surprises! Coach Nick Saban

Ingram.

I would rather Ingy get the record at Bryant/Denny so it can be properly announced and celebrated. I am sure they will notice on the television broadcast but I am not so sure that the Aubbies will give him his shoutout in the stadium….and lets face it………..life is ALL about the shoutouts

My guess...

…is that Ingy would rather break the record in Jordan-Hare whilst earning a big, fat W….

49-0

The Mocs get no points. Total domination. Shutout. But we stay classy and don’t run things up too too much, so we don’t break 50.

We will

be extremely vanilla, 35-3.

Would really like to see Cody carry the ball. This is his only chance but due to injury potential I think it will not happen.

Would also like to see our back up FG Kicker and Punter get to participate.

I hate the NCAA more than UT & AU combined. At least with UT & AU you got a fighting chance.

42-6

We give up a long kick return and / or a fumbled snap deep in our own territory that gives them a couple of fg’s. I agree with 5026 that we stay vinilla.

by BigChief on Nov 21, 2009 7:05 AM CST reply actions

Agree that we stay vanilla, but

we can help hitting half a hundy. Every senior plays and we go three deep in a game that shamefully should have never been scheduled.

58-3

and specifically

the UA rushing record falls as Ingram has 1870+ on < 20 carries and 2+ tds.
Trent scores a rushing TD
Upchurch gets in on the act with a score (rushing or passing)
Julio picks up another, and so does Hanks and/or Maze.

And that brings us to halftime, where, in the second half, we work on TE play.
